My email offers have completely dried up since around about the time of the change to MacBank. The last email was for 6 weeks with the 1000 points for on line shopping, plus triple points at BWS from 5/11 to 21/12.

I did get my $30 christmas cash card, with 10% of online shopping over $150.

SWMBO got a christmas letter via snail mail. 50% of woolworths gold products*, $20 off the next shop shop.

* I have no idea what this is, perhaps part of the tie up with MacBank to introduce a secondary gold market.

Spend $160 for bonus points. No thanks. I have switched the majority of my shopping to Aldi and have saved a ton of money. Some items I still purchase from WES/WOW, but the majority is now from Aldi.

I got some discount vouchers in the mail last week.
First one is 50% off Gold Products and can be used this week (single transaction). That's actually quite a good offer although it's not points.
Next week's voucher is $20 off shop.

Those coupon books are very confusing and the check-out staff even worse.

The email for dad last week mentioned 500 bonus points for $80+ spend. Mum thinks the check-out scanned triple points coupon which is not mentioned in the reminder email.

Also purchased 2 boxes x 30 Coke cans and one of the coupons is for 10% off soft drinks from weeks 1-6 where as the check-out person said the offer was for this week not last week.

I am going to send them an email. This is too confusing. If you are going to send someone a coupon book why can't you preload all the offers on the card? In the hope there is a mistake at the check-out?

this is the same problem I had with those coupons, but it was the $5 off soft drink that caused the problem.

Ok, the 50% off Gold products turned into a bit of a debacle tonight. Bought my usual $450 shop including around $100 worth of Gold products. Coupon scanned and gave $7.25 discount - WTF !!!
Supervisor appeared and couldn't explain it so the coupon was voided and I asked if I could have the discount on the $40 Christmas crackers (2 boxes). Both boxes were then voided from my shop. Traipsed off to the front desk and after numerous attempts to sort it she rang the duty manager who fortunately said "Scan one box and give the customer two". They are keeping the coupon to investigate why it didn't work properly.

I've had problems with coupons at WW before but never ones with such a large value on them. I hope they get back to you to explain what happened. Well done for your efforts.

Were you using your week 6 coupon or any other coupons from the book with the 50% off Gold products coupon? I've just had a look at an image of the Gold coupon on another website and one of the terms and conditions says the Gold coupon can't be used with any other offers. Personally I don't think this is very fair especially as the 6 week coupon book specifically says that you can use multiple coupons in one transaction. I know the Gold coupon is from a different set of coupons but I don't understand why WW would change the rules on combining coupons. It just leads to lots of confusion at the checkout.

Can you imagine what it is like for people who are not used to computers, internet and these types of promotions in general?

I still don't understand why it has to be this difficult. If you are going to offer someone a promotion then automatically enrol them in the promotion and stop the stuffing around with adding this coupon and removing this coupon.
