EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

It is so hard to keep up with, and reconcile, Everyday Rewards points posting.

Received a trickle of bonus points for what appears to be the Homebrand double points week ending 24 June 2011.

Still no 12c fuel offer for promotion that ended last week.

My fuel offer posted this morning... BUT only a 7 cent voucher not the 12 cent voucher as promised in the email...!

Would have thought it would be there by now.
They posted today! I got 8 bonus points instead of the 12c fuel offer. Are they really that incompetent?

And last week I received 4c off fuel at Caltex/Wooolorths when the profile specifically has Qantas Frequent Flyer points as the option. It somehow came up as an offline transaction and gave the discount rather that QFF points.

Time for another emai....

I assume you mean you got a 8 cents offer not just 8 bonus points for the qualify spend...!

This usually happens if the outlet is off line at the time you complete the transaction, the bonus for some people for this is that if the outlet is offline, they get the 4 cents discount regardless. Even if they have no fuel offers on the card, if the terminal is off line then everybody gets a fuel discount when scanning the EDR barcode.

On the downside, you don't get points, but I think (hope) the offers on your card are not touched, this is really important if you have a 12 cent offer loaded on the card...! :D

I was given an additional 50 points on top of the 100-point instore offer for buying $40 of fresh food this week. Unfortunately I doubt I could eat that much fresh food on my own.

2 bananas, a couple of cherries, and one piece of fillet steak and you'ld almost be there, I think...

Got the same offer. Wonder if I can do the $40 multiple times for the in-store offer?

No. I received 8 bonus points + normal 4c fuel offer for my $38.94 excursion to Woolworths during the bonus promotion.

FWIW I called Everyday Rewards and the person on the phone did not show any interest in assisting.

Her: "You cannot have bonus points and 12c fuel offer at the same time"
Me: "I chose to have the 12c fuel offer so please take back the bonus points and load my 12 fuel offer"
Her: "We cannot see on our system what option you chose but if you received the bonus points then that is what you chose"

So circular conversation over and over and the computer is 100% right and the customer is wrong again. It is not big deal but the only reason I went shopping that day was for the 12c fuel offer not the 8 measly bonus points. Anyway I will be sending Everyday Rewards negative customer service feedback for their lack of assistance and then I will feel better....

You'd have to find the conditions about the instore offer, but you can certainly earn multiple lots of the targeted offer.

As for your suggestion, I'll look at fruit, but I'm not a steak fan, and I realize that'd make up the difference. ;)

This is the response from my email complaining...
Dear Shintaro10x,Thank you for your enquiry!Upon reviewing your Everyday Rewards account we can now confirm your promotional fuel voucher has been loaded to your account. Once you have logged into your online account at www.everydayrewards.com.au you can review your available fuel vouchers by clicking ‘My Everyday Rewards’.We apologise for any inconvenience.

Great... I get a 7 cent voucher when I should have received the 12 cent voucher as promised, #$%$

The canned response email is a waste of time, since my complaint was for the wrong bonus value, Woolworths, I got the friggen bonus, just the wrong friggen amount...!

Now, what do I do with this weeks bonus offer...? Get sucked in and spend another $100 at WW Liquor, My chances are that if I do, I'll get the same bonus as if I only spent $50

BTW used the coughpy 7 cent (3.5 QFF / L) bonus tonight....took 120L but since the 7 cent voucher stuff up, only 420 points tonight :( (Ripped off 300 QFF points, Total should have been 720 :()

But I guess I am still lucky to receive these offers, should I activate this weeks offer...?

I also received the offer for 50 bonus points (so 150 bonus points in total) when spending $40 on fresh food.

A kilo of prawns and you'd be halfway there. Although Woolies prawns would stretch my definition of what "fresh" is....

Just received the weeks catalogue and if you spend $250+ this week from Thursday 21 Jul you receive 200 bonus points no enrollment requirement

I assume this is at Woolworths Supermarkets only...? Not other EDR participants...?

I wonder of general offers should be in their own thread. More likely to get a wider audience there!

Ok, Sunday night yet again, So Bonus time for the lucky ones...! Who will be lucky this week...?

BTW, I ended up opting in for this weeks offer at Woolworths Liquor, hopefully a 12 cents fuel voucher (to be used as 6pts/L @ 150L = 900 QFF points ) coming my way, otherwise I have been ripped off yet again...!

:D

Indeed here's hoping it is something specific rather than spend heaps for points.

I've got all of the non perishables I need for the short term future at the moment. :p

I didn't bother with this weeks as double points at BWS doesn't do much for me.
