Same here, my partner received this offer. You can never have too much dental floss in the drawer so I'll pick up a couple of those, perhaps a bit of toothpaste. This is an easy 300 points.

lovestotravel, I'm in the same position - just started to get the one-offs like bakery, oral care - mustn't have been in the right demographic

Let's not go that far - my research yesterday was not in vain as I am doing my shopping this morning to secure my weekly bonus point allocations

So the majority of my shopping done this morning (apart from the WOW Select 2 for 50 pts which I will do later in the week for my son, piggybacking his WOW double points > $30; plus I have some batteries to buy as well).

Big W first - kids clothing had a rack of $3 items, so I picked 3 that will fit my kids. Total $9. I scored 200 bonus points for 3 items, 14 Amex points.

BWS - my wife drank some Baileys with a friend last night, so easy to make sure I have a spare 1L bottle ($40 - on sale). I scored 250 bonus points, 60 Amex points and 10 standard EDR points.

WOW - time for some oralcare & wash products. Took a quick scan of the shelves to locate what I needed and I went for 4 different items. The Colgate Plax Freshmint (60m) for $1.19; Swisspers Elmos Babywipes 10 pk was $0.99; WOW Select Toothbrush & Toothpaste holder (double sized) was $0.99 and Oral B Dental Floss Mint Waxed 50m was $2.55 = total $5.72 [so now we have a travel pack for overnight stays]. I scored 300 bonus points and 7 Amex points - used self service as well. There are plenty of items under $2 if you search - $0.99 was the best I could find :D (I could have got 10 cotton wipes for my wife @ $1.29 instead of the dental floss;))

Totals:
Me - 760 EDR points (750 Bonus + 10 Standard) for $54.72 spend (13.88c/point) + 81 Amex points

I know I could have maximised the WOW and BWS further, but I'd rather sometimes buy things that I'll use...and at WOW would have only been saving $1.76 - not worth my time to fluff around.

My mum dropped into work, so I grabbed her EDR card and set her up on the EDR website. Showed her why she should pay attention to the promo offers (no bonus offers achieved this year)...reminded her that if she wanted to fly for free, check the EDR promos each week and I can tell her what to buy as part of her normal shopping. She has grandchildren (good for Big W shopping) and normal shopping (WOW). Went through and ticked all the interests so she can get the offers ;)

Now to get my Dad's card and do the same - he'll have lots of BWS and WOW entries on his ;)

Bought 2 pkts of Select Rice Crackers (seaweed), 2 small Morning Fresh which were on 1/2 price special as well, & 4 bottles of the CleanSkins wine. Should nett me 50 + 200 + 250 points. I intended to just get these, but did my whole shop there. Usually prefer the Coles meat, so will be taste testing this weekend.

Now to try to concentrate long enough to understand what I need to do to get the gift cards....
