Emirates Premium Economy

I lodged a missing QFF points claim for a EK premium economy ticket. DXB-MEL. Apparently my class was ineligible?

Looking at this link it appears premium economy no longer earns any points whatsoever with QFF?!

My booking class was “Flex plus” and I used EK points to upgrade to J which shouldn’t mean I earn nothing for the original booking class?
According to the table PE fares listed previously now earn at Flex Y rates (for E and W). Or H now actually earns as Business.

Do you know precisely what fare class it booked into (before the upgrade)?

It’s possible that the upgrade switched to an another fare class not in the table - hence the zero points so far. But so long as the original fare is one of those listed, you should be entitled to something.

I’m going to have a look at the ticket to find out what class it was!

Couldn't find it on the eticket. Called QFF and they've asked to email the ticket plus boarding passes (had already done that in the original request). Very annoying as I'm claiming for 4 pax

It's also a question as to whether EKs system allows you to do this, or by doing that you have locked points earn to your EK account.

In some GDSs there are multiple FF fields, but the interaction with them varies, and some airlines only allow you to use one at any time.

Have you checked your EK account.

Yes, good point! I didn’t register it was a “points” upgrade.
