rofl, please.Airlines should stop the deceit and lies.
Glad I was able to amuse you.rofl, please.
Oh yes it does and it is so noticeable it is not funny. Can I ask what is the difference between 9D and 5D? Does it really matter? I could understand if you were bumped from J to Y or out of an exit row that you have paid for but don't you think you are being a but precious?

I was recently in 9D (or was it 7D) on a DJ flight. It felt like my world collapsed around me. I felt so clausterphobic I was struggling to see the front of the aircraft. I would have been hyperventilating if I did not already consume 1/2 a Xanax. Serves me right for dropping below Platinum. If that happens again I am going to have to reassess my flight plans.
Now I know there were a few people in front of me that did not care where they were seated. They should have left those seats free for me....
Certainly they have advertised, if not guaranteed it.About Qantas - Media Room - Media Releases - Wide-Body Aircraft to Target East/West GrowthAgain, where has QF advertised skybeds on the cross-Aus flights??
http://www.australianfrequentflyer....-flyer-program/50-bonus-sc-mel-syd-39992.html"Passengers in both cabins of the Boeing 747 between Perth and Sydney will experience Qantas' globally-renowned international service. Business passengers will experience the Skybed Business Class seats, with passengers in both cabins having personal in-flight entertainment options.

Did you know Qantas operates up to five weekly A330 services between Melbourne and Perth# and up to six weekly A330 services between Sydney and Perth+ featuring a full inflight service experience and Skybed in Business? ...
Speaking of QF and 'misleading' advertising, I'm reminded of the billboard at Perth Airport promoting QF's skybed service to SYD. It features a photo of a very content lady sleeping in her mark II skybed.
While on this topic, Sunday Herald Newspaper today (SYD), there was also an ad featuring the Skybed. However, there was also a * which stated that not all flights had the Skybed on East Coast - PER sectors.
Your humorous response illustrates my point!!!
That is OK. Some people like to think that only the things they feel important are worthy of mention.I don't wish to speak for JohnK but I don't think his post was a joke.
i would be happy to offer you 4D (especially if 11F was freeThat is OK. Some people like to think that only the things they feel important are worthy of mention.
I have an issue and want to do the best thing I can to make my life comfortable without hurting others and sitting constantly in the middle of the aircraft with people all around me is not going to help. Yes I know business class is an ption but I cannot afford that as well as accommodation for my regular commute.
Today I was seated in row 4 on a QF 738 with a vacant middle seat and even with 1/2 Xanax before the flight it was getting a little difficult to breathe towards the end of the flight. It is not something I consciously think about and today I had nothing to fear but it just happens.

Come on mate, I can understand that people have legitimate anxiety issues and being stuck in a crowd is one of them and I know that uncomfortable feeling, but are you really telling me that being in row 4 and surrounded by P1s actually makes a difference between being in Row 9 and (shock horror) perphaps some non-status pax!!
In the OP the move was from 9D to 4D so it was never a middle seat.
