I only was asked yesterday to send my pay slip in for the JQ offer. Will this mean I have missed the approval cut off date?

Legit fuming if so, was a great deal!

I see the Woolworths EDR offer is now 16000 points... I should have applied more quickly! :)

This isn’t the JQ card, but the terms from this offer are:

20,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points offer is available to new primary cardholders who apply via this link between 12 March and 15 April 2012, are approved and make an eligible purchase on their Woolworths Everyday Rewards Qantas credit card by 15 June 2012.

Old link is still active?

I've just read the fine print carefully, and notice it can take up to 8 weeks for the bonus points to appear.
So I guess I have to wait for that timeline to expire before chasing it up (unless of course it appears before than)

I applied via that link.
Received the card today with an approval letter.
No reference to the signup bonus point offer (nor annual fee).
I may need to ring Customer Service to agree & confirm bonus points, before deciding to activate the card.
As with earlier posts, the letter did refer to the fact I have the new silver card & that comes with 1,000 bonus points.

My other issue is that I have never had my own WW EDR account.
MrsB has one & I have the 'second card' on her account. I used this number on my CC application.
It will be interesting to see how the points post.

Not sure what you mean. Duplicate card or linked card? In my family all our cards are linked for EDR but each member has a different card number and importantly that card number can only be linked to an individual and unique QFF number. So unless you have a duplicate of MrsB's card you should have your own account and it should post points to your QFF number.

Thanks, it would be a linked card.
MrsB arranged it some time ago so I could use her petrol discounts.

Sounds like a linked card. Maybe if points haven't been going to your qantas account you might need to attach your QFF number.

I must say I was a little sceptical that I could follow that link (I think it was targetted?) and receive the full 20,000 bonus points.
At CC activation, I rang Customer Service to confirm the 20k bonus points. It took them about a week to get back with the confirmation (yesterday). Now the wait.
Thanks for sharing!

Applied on/around 21 march activated on/around 28 march - got my bonus points today....6000, 5000 sign up and 1000 on the 'silver card'......you can imagine my displeasure....friend at work had th same thing......I rang and inquired nicely WTF is happening....went through the terms and conditions of the promotion....all conditions have been met so escalated the issue to his support area.....have his name and his word that he will be calling back by the end of the week to let me know when the points will post....only good thing about the experience is that I didn't as yet get hit by the $89 fee. Will keep you updated on the progress.

I've got to say that 20 000 is better than the 16 000 I got and works out to a very reasonble CPM.

Looks like I only got the 5k+1k bonus instead of 20k. Will have to call up. Has anyone had success with getting it sorted yet?

I rang to sort it out on 17 April - he confirmed on the phone I had met all the conditions - he escalated it to a technical area and told me he would call me by the end of the week. I had not received a call so rang today and was advised I had not applied by the link which is a load of B* S*. I escalated to a supervisor who basically told me the same thing - I insisted I had activited by the link and if he wanted to talk to the people at my employment I could happly provide him with the information. He basically called me a lyer - I was very insistant and I have got an email address to forward the activation email to them the email address is [email protected] - once I have done the email I will edit and post on here. So this issue is unresolved however it has given me a good indication that service suck and the card is getting cut up ASAP

I was transferred to a supervisor who explained the samething as xx_xx_X. This was the third person at Woolworths credit card to callme a liar. Only after a very firm conversation did the supervisor provide mewith this email to lodge this written complaint.
If I had applied for a card with 5,000 bonus points when youcredited 5,000 bonus points I would not have called you to complain about thepoints being short. I would never apply for this card for only 5,000 bonuspoints (especially when there is a 20,000 point offer in play). I do not likemy integrity being questioned – if this is the customer service I am subjectedto when I am trying to resolve an issue I would hate to think of the customerservice I would be provided if I had to question a transaction or paymentdispute on my card. I am very offended that you do not believe me when Iadvised on multiple occasions that I had lodged via the link provided in theemail. I can understand computer systems having issues and I believe on this occasionyour system is faulty and has not recorded the information correctly from myapplication (I know two other people who have the same issue and are waitingfor my resolution before escalating it also). I am rather disappointed with mycontinual need to confirm that I have applied for this credit card via thelink. As I advised on the phone I am happy to provide affidavits (these areAustralian legal papers) to support my contention that I applied for this cardthrough this link.
Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. The pleasantexperience of apply and getting this card is getting to the point where Iregret every making the application due to the continued need to contact you toresolve issues. If you are unable to resolve my issues should I be contacting athird party to escalate this matter? I look forward to your speedy reply.

I had a page of information at the start with all the contact and my steps I had taken - I have also forwarded the email with the link embedded into it.
Will await to see what B*S* the give me next time they call.

I'm in the same boat.
I don't even ever remember seeing a 5000 point offer.
I'm pretty sure when I signed up using the 20,000 point link, the one on the front page was 8000 or so.

Bloke on the phone said this is happening a lot. I've sent off my email so we'll see what happens.

This is a reminder that taking screen shots are vital when signing up to promotions via links - it gives you evidence

there was absolutely nothing on the application pages about the bonus points - it was only on the everyday rewards quarterly statement and from that link into the terms and conditions - which I have a copy of if anyone needs.
