Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Woolworths have figured out we travel a lot.Away for 6 weeks and had the occasional general offer, nothing targeted apart from last weeks triple point offer.Did a $14 spend on arriving home and last week 2 weeks for 2400 points for $165 spend-OK when you are home after a trip.
but today we both got 2 weeks of 2000 bonus points if shopping at our local supermarket.$120 for me,$110 for mrsdrron.
Hmmm will $165 spend get me 4400 points?
I would think so though sometimes you need to complete both weeks of the latter offer

Received offers on 2 of 3 cards - 5th Feb to 11th Feb

$150 for 3000 points
$150 for 2600 points

Have had zero spend on all cards since early December due to travel, this has reduced the ask from $230 down to $150. I have lots of travel coming up from the 12th so might skip these and see if I can't get the spend even lower.

I have received spend $100 in the next week and receive 2200 points. I struggle to achieve $50 in a week and have never exceeded it, so not going to chase these 2200 points.

I took my SIL to get past $150 today for 3300 Woolies points. We were the only ones in our line paying with a 5% off Woolies gift card.

Was that an offer that you received in an email today? Only asking because an email offer that I received this morning (Spend $100 for 2000 points) is not valid until tomorrow. Expires Sunday 11 February 2018.

Yes I think that could be the case where cove may have shot too early. I got two, one was spend $200 (in one go) from tomorrow until Sunday to receive 4400 points and another for spend $100 also in one go over the same time period to receive 2200 points. Another card received none.

Cove's $150 for 3300 seems like the same type of offer.

Yes, I've got the triple points offer on 2 cards which have current offers. As it happens, I'm going to be able to take offers up on both cards. The triple points were paid instantly but still waiting on the bonus points from last week and this week. I thought it was strange as well. I hope everything stacks correctly.

I ended up taking up 2 weeks of the offer on one card and the second week of the offer on another card. Both got the target spend points and the triple points. The target spend points took longer than the promised 3 business days to turn up but luckily they eventually did.

We got a 3 week we miss you offer with targets of $30, $40 and $50. We will happily take the $5 off for the first week, $10 off for the second week and $15 off for the third week.

Some other family members got 2200 points for a $100 spend but we won't be using those offers.

Looks like I went a day too early. I will be in Melbourne next weekend and I don't think I will bother seeing the local IGA is about 100 steps away.
I did buy some fuel at my local Caltex with 5% off, 4 cents off WOW Rewards and a Myer One card got blipped. Sunday and Monday are the cheaper fuel days in Perth each week.
I have put those Qantas points into 2 business class tickets to Melbourne.

Similar offer, 150 dollar spend in one shop for 3300 points. I normally take up all offers but I think with this would be a struggle. Spend is up from recent offers so might give a miss and see what the other side is like this week

Yes I go the spend $100 for 2200 points.
Hmm do I stretch the shop or wait and see if I can get it lower next time.

+1 on the 1000 points for $30+ spend at Caltex Woolworths. Bit difficult for someone who doesn't have a car!

Also product offers for the coming week (Max 5 of each product):
560 points for Sensodyne Deep Clean Toothpaste 110g
400 points for Devondale Colby Cheese 625g
1000 points for Tasmanian Heritage Camembert 250g

Clearly trying to make me eat a lot of cheese (and have good teeth)!

Anyone also had a system issue with manual crediting of points following an offer? Had 2400 points manually applied (gave me a $20 conversion to Qantas points), appear to have gotten another $20 conversion automatically after the next shop, and have just logged on to find my balance at -3800 points (which is correct).

So whats the consensus on stock up for $150 for 3300 points?
Go for it or wait it out?
Will have to stretch to meet $150

If you have to stretch to get to $150 it's not really worth it at all. The next offer will only have a higher target. My personal opinion is wait a few weeks, don't swipe your card for base points in the meantime and wait for the next offer to come. This next offer should have a lower target.

I bought their washing machine soap at half price and had to fill the trolley to get to $150 for the second purchase inside a week. I was kicking myself for going a day early by accepting a deal but not reading that the offer started a day later. My mistake was fixed with a bulk buy that we didn’t need but by splitting it between several households it will work out ok.

I've been trialing this method for a few months now. We haven't swiped any of our 4 cards in the last 3 months unless an offer was in motion. One of the cards I literally haven't used in 12 weeks and it hasn't had an offer in that time.
Another card received the recent spend $50 each week for 4 weeks for 6000 points which was taken up. The next offer on that card was $100 spend in a single shop for 1800 points, which we wont activate.

IMO the information WW receives about our spending habits is not worth the one point (base point) per dollar on offer.

Offers seem to be getting tougher and less frequent. This week, 2 of our 4 cards have an offer. It wasn't that long ago, really had to pick and then plan how were going to use the multiple offers coming in

1. Spend $105 get 1600 points each week for next 2 weeks
2. Spend minimum $135 each week get 5X points next 2 weeks

Have activated the first offer, not great value but pretty close to our weekly spend nowadays, no 2, not worth the paper it wasn't printed on

5x points offers only represent 2.5% return on the whole shop so it's crazy in my opinion to ask you to meet a minimum spend just to get a multiple point deal. Our family members got 2 offers of 5x points, one with a target of $80 and the other a target of $30. We're busy for the next 2 weeks taking up a we miss you offer so probably won't need either offer.

We rarely spend over $80 in one transaction (holidays to Mildura being the exception).
