Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Latest offer is spend $50 in one shop each week for 4 weeks for 6000 points.
Funnily enough this is on the card that has taken up the last couple of offers whilst the other three cards I have not used for months and they have had zero offers.

2 family members got the 4 week offer with the $50 target for 6000 points. It's not as good as the Flybuys offer for the same target but we'll probably take up one of the offers.

Another family member got a 4 week offer for a $80 target and 7500 points. The target is way to high to consider taking up and the return isn't good enough.

The $50 target offer has a percentage return of about 15%. The $80 target offer has a percentage return of about 11%. This once again shows how Woolworths reward customers less for spending more.

My four week offer was spend $150 for 14000 points. Offers used to be over two weeks and than last year they moved to three weeks and now this year four week offers. Not sure I want to commit to one store for four weeks.

Yes I got the same offer. The target is too high and trying to sustain for 4 weeks is painful.
Husband got an offer before Christmas to spend $70 in one shop to receive 1600 points each week for 3 weeks. Well no points came through and I haven't got the time or strength to pursue it.

I also got $80/week in one shop for four weeks for 7500 points. Way too high for me and definitely not doable for four weeks.

I only managed a $90 spend this week in multiple shops by spreading my spend over a full week. I essentially bought two weeks worth of groceries in that time plus stocked up on a few non-perishables.

Ours is $100 a week for 4 weeks to get 9000 Woolies Points so I had better fly home from London to get started.

I've noticed with single spend offers, for example spend $50 for 1000 points, when checking the receipt it instantly acknowledges you have met the criteria and earned 1000 points.
Today I've met the week 1 spend of $50 each week for 4 weeks. I don't see anything on the receipt confirming this and I absolutely accepted the email offer and registered.
Does this sound normal? I've taken these multi week offers up before but never bothered to check whats printed on the docket.

Same thing happened to us before Christmas. Activated the offer did the spend first week it showed up on the docket. Activated the second week, did the spend but didn't realise it didn't show up on the docket, same thing happened the 3rd week. So no bonus points. Very annoyed!!
New offer is spend $50 over 4 weeks. Just did our first week spend and it showed up on the docket acknowledged the spend. We will see what happens next week.

Not sure there is any 'normal' with these offers. Keep accurate records is my advice.

Ok thanks for the info, exactly what I was curious about.
On my receipt it states the correct card number and the offer was accepted via the email but nothing about "you have just completed week 1 of the blah blah offer". I'm on exactly the same offer as you, $50 each week for 4 weeks = 6000 points.
Very interested to see what happens with both of us next week.

$155/ week for 2,400 points x 2 weeks (seems far less generous than some of the other offers being sent out).
Also annoying that the offer was sent out half way through Day 1 of the first week after I'd already done an (albeit minor) shop...

You're right about it not being very generous. Received the same offer except it's for 3600 points and $85.

Does your offer need to be completed in a single shop per week or multiple shops.

My previous offers have said "Spend $X for X weeks in as many shops as you like for X points". I only managed to complete them because of the "multiple shop" option - could do a big shop on the weekend and then a top up shop during the week (for bread, milk etc) to reach the spending requirement. Could also take advantage of any new specials that came out midweek with the new catalogue.

My most recent offer changed to "spend in a single shop only" which makes it a lot harder to complete. Have chosen not to activate it in the hope that future offers have a lower spend and change back to multiple shops.

Multiple shops allowed to meet the minimum spend. I suspect because I've met a few smaller offers over recent months (both BWS and Woolworths minimum spends) they're trying to push it a bit further...

2x$180 for 5600pts. I am actually insulted with that offer...

I had not activated a WWR offer for months as the targets have been ludicrous.

One account that hasn't been used for a few months received a spend $50 get $10 off instantly.

Has anyone noticed slow activation times recently? Normally I activate my offer either on the way to the shop or in the store just before I get to the check out.
This evening I activated the above $50 spend for $10 instant discount. I've had these types of offers before and once you hit the spend and swipe the card you see the discount straight away on the screen. Today the discount has not been applied after activating the offer and using the correct card.
I asked the attendant to cancel the transaction to try again and even the second attempt failed to apply the discount.
The time between activating the offer and swiping the card was about 10 minutes.
Will try again tomorrow and see what happens.

I've seen somewhere in the fine print that you have to wait 2 hours after activating the offer before it will work. This applies to both in store and online purchases.

I've noticed delays after clicking on activate my offer. It used to be only a few seconds before the confirmation page showed but at the moment the page loads for about a minute.
