Offers usually say activate 2 hours before use.Has anyone noticed slow activation times recently? Normally I activate my offer either on the way to the shop or in the store just before I get to the check out.
This evening I activated the above $50 spend for $10 instant discount. I've had these types of offers before and once you hit the spend and swipe the card you see the discount straight away on the screen. Today the discount has not been applied after activating the offer and using the correct card.
I asked the attendant to cancel the transaction to try again and even the second attempt failed to apply the discount.
The time between activating the offer and swiping the card was about 10 minutes.
Will try again tomorrow and see what happens.
