Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

and once again, they are claiming that this "is what [-]customers[/-] investors want".

I'm sorry to hear that, but I've fixed your comment for you to highlight what they meant!

And I don't know anything about offers. Since the new scheme I've had none.

The new model was rolled out in WA as a trial in 2013. VIC got it late last year, phased in between Sep and Nov.
Most stores are going 100% case ready, supplied out of a Woolworths owned meat packing factory in Laverton, VIC. Selected stores are getting "butcher shops" which are similar to deli's. But not all current production stores are getting them. There are 17 stores in Canberra. 12 currently have in store production. 9 will get the new butcher shops. 16 stores in NSW are currently listed as having changes. 13 are currently production. 3 will get the new butcher shops.

With the info I got today, there is a high probability that I'm going to be forced into a lower grade and get an approx $5k/yr pay cut through no fault or choice of my own.

and once again, they are claiming that this "is what customers want". :(

We did say that the amount of offers being sent out was going to be reduced...

I guess this is what gets my goat. WW proudly advertise about giving young kids their first jobs like Aussie Cricketer Dave Warner at 14 years and nine months and how they support so many Aussie employees. But, then they industrialise the butchers section.

Woolworths sells goat? The main issue I have with the pre-packed meat is that some of the containers seem over large for what they contain.....(Anyway, around me in Vic, my local Coles had moved to the same meat model way before Woolworths did)

Still going on the fumes of the wifes 3 week offer before Christmas of spend $50 get $5 Woolworths dollars.

Haven't seen any offers other than the online spend offer which does not appeal.

And the wifes 3 week offer of $5 Woolworths dollars for $50 spend has been extended another week.

Not great but not bad either considering offers have dried up.

One of the FAQs docs about the meat changes mentioned that goat is a "core" line, but there are issues sourcing supply. It may only be available in stores with a local supplier they can access.

Any offers I had ended in early December, haven't received anything since - except for those useless "especially selected for you" emails with products that I've never bought and would never want to buy either.

No offers here either and we are voting with our wallet. From a weekly spend of between 4-500 dollars we have spent a total of $118.79 for the month of January so far with most of our shopping redirected to a new Harris Farm nearby that stocks most of what we need (huge store). I'm probably paying a bit more but certainly better quality

I wonder if anyone at WOW has noticed!!!

To my surprise this morning I had an email about some WW orange sticker specials this week on "fresh" fruit & veg. Had a quick glance on the iPhone, what a great special on potatoes.

As I've never seen any orange sticker items that were actually cheap I was amazed at this one. Then, I turned my phone horizontal...

Haven't seem this behavior before however I figured my initial reaction was too good to be true.

How does changing phone orientation change the price from $2.00 to $4.90? The mind boggles!

If I were you, I would go in store, buy the potatoes and, if charged $4.90, show staff the email on your phone in portrait orientation.

I doubt it. They are too focused on cutting in store costs and screwing over their staff. If anyone at Norwest does notice, they couldn't possibly blame it on their wonderful, can not fail, ideas.
Sorry, I was being a bit sarcastic when I made that statement
