Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

One of the annoying things about the current 4 week promotion at Woolworths is that there's no messages on the receipts to say that the transactions have been counted towards the qualifying target for each week. I've had no way of knowing until today whether the shops have been tracked by the Woolworths Rewards system.

I got some emails today for the family members who are participating in the current promotion. They were reminders to stay on track this week and complete the week 2 transaction by Sunday 17 February. This is the only proof I have that the week 1 transactions have been tracked. It's rather disappointing.

I got a similar email about this today.

It said I had completed my week 1 purchase. But the only purchase I made in week 1 was for gift cards.

I never intended to undertake the offer, but I always thought that gift cards were excluded from these offers.

Very interesting Dr Ralph.

I'm happy that Woolworths Rewards are tracking the family spending for these offers but I prefer an instant notification rather than working out by deductive reasoning after receiving an email, which on one account encouraged us to shop again this week even though we had done the week 2 transaction already.

Interesting. Keep us posted as the four weeks progress - assuming you’re willing to be the guinea pig?;)

Our family members got the Caltex bonus points today.
Combined we received 3,400 points. For us, that is worth $17 which we paid about $5 for.

Received an offer for 1,500 points by spending $50 or more in transaction by this Sunday.

Should be easy to achieve as I will now do my major grocery shop this week at Woolies instead of Coles.

Dad received offer of 1,000 bonus points for $50 spend this week.

And we have week 2 of 2 for other offers.

I've not had this before - after not taking up a recent offer I get given a second chance at the same offer, but in fewer weeks:

'Hi Dr Ralph, we wouldn't want you to miss your points.

Recently you missed a chance to earn 20,000 bonus points in 4 weeks, so now we’re giving you the chance to earn 20,000 bonus points in 3 weeks

Your offer is already activated

Just spend $150* or more in one shop, or in as many shops as you like in-store at Woolworths by Sunday, 24 February to complete your week 1 shop.

Once you complete your week 3 shop 20,000 bonus points will be added to your balance.

Don't forget every 2000 points is $10 off a future shop.'

OR

Earn 2000 points when you spend $50 in one transaction in-store*

Hurry - offer ends Sunday, 10th March

I really don't like the current 4 week offer promotion. Previous 4 week offers have given you a week by week update on the receipt and credited the points as soon as you do the week 4 transaction. The current promotion doesn't show anything on the weekly receipts and you have to wait 3 days in doubt and hope before the points credit in the account. Very annoying.
