Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I hadn't had a single offer since the new scheme started. However, after printer the 10% off voucher someone posted, I did my weekly shop at Woolies yesterday (~$130 after 10%) and hey presto I've finally been sent an over. Spend $40pw in a single shop x 4wks for 6,000pts.

So for those yet to get any offers under the new scheme, maybe just do one weekly show and see what happens.

That's a good return for the $40 target.

I think the targeted offers are generated a couple of weeks in advance so I don't know whether your other transaction had an effect. I once got a "We miss you" offer the day after I spent $60 on a card that hadn't been used for months.

4 cards, 1 offer - spend $40 in one shop each week for 4 weeks for 6k points. A good offer but a shame we can't spread it over multiple shops.

We don't have any coupon booklets on any of our accounts.

Spend $65/week for 4 weeks for 8,000 points.

Would love one of the higher spend offers for greater discount. May opt for 3,480 QFF points instead and give mum the $40.

Re: Spend must be in one shop?

They have on at least one occasion in the past that I can recall had coughulative spend for some sort of bonus deal.

The wording looks pretty clearly coughulative spend to me.

Re: Spend must be in one shop?

Mine this time is.

"Boost your balance with 8000 points. Just spend $80* in one shop each with for the next 4 weeks to earn 8000 bonus points"

"Hi Scenicbumblebee, boost your balance with this exclusive offer just for you.

Simply activate your offer then spend $80* in one transaction in store or online at Woolworths by Sunday 9 October to complete your Week 1 shop"

Previously it has always been accumulative for me, the one shop thing for me at Woolies is a new thing.

I'm tempted to miss this one, it's only 8000 points over the 4 weeks (equivalent to $40), all my Flybuys are equivalent to $50. Might miss this one and hope that it re-jigs my target spend - not sure yet, but I have a week to decide.

Re: Spend must be in one shop?

Hmm, different wording for different people by the look of it, then. I have yet to receive an offer.

After an almighty effort to spend $100 in one transaction buying long term stuff like multiple cookingoils, kids treats for the holidays, packet food, and toiletries to score 2000, I figure that I blew the chance of a better offer.

the $110 for 4 weeks one or more transactions without alcohol it's way beyond what I would normally spend, the points offering is appalling. 6,000 for $40, 10,000 for $80 and $12,000 for $110. At the rate of $1500 per $10, it ought be $16,500.

So it's NO SALE from me.

woolies are too stupid or the systems too immature to cope with really personalised offers that take into account distance from store, distance from the competitor, use of car (keep getting sent useless fuel offers when I fly not drive). Worse is they expect loyalty without really rewarding it. In attempts to boost The non-shopper or low spend shopper showing up at the store they get the better offers. Well I believe there's a term for that..... 'fly you'.

So so there's a strong chance my spending will be redirected elsewhere. Because woollies like you too I can 'fly you' too

Re: Spend must be in one shop?

Thanks.I saw the offer and just presumed it was going to be all in one shop-$110 over 4 weeks for 12000 points.
But checked and mine is in 1 or more shops. That makes it easier.

nope - not me. i wasnt looking till that promo ends. all my other purchases have gone on almost immediately. BTW, what is ALLSTORES on my woolworthsrewards activity? could it possibly be dan murphy?

I've seen a Allstores a couple of times on the account. I think it relates to bonus points which are paid at a later date rather than at the time of the transaction.

I'm going to give mine a miss as a well. Before the recent revamp of the scheme, the few offers I did get earlier on were always spends that could be done in multiple shops, so some were achievable but then the offers just seemed to dry up completely. I hadn't received anything since around March this year, so was looking forward to the "updated" scheme. There was no need to hold my breath - whilst I have received several offers, they've all been much higher spend targets than ANY of my historical spending at Woolworths, and without exception all have been "must be done in one shop" offers which just isn't going to happen. I might be able to hit the target for one week (at a stretch) but $80 in one transaction for the next 3 weeks as well? No chance.

BTW, I've never received any booklets either.

$140 spend for 4 weeks (one or more transactions per week) = 14000 points which also dove tails with another 2000 point offer last week for $100 spend expiring Tuesday which i haven't used yet.

6,960 / 10.5PPD QFF seems alright for $660 spend over a month (extra $100 for previous 2k offer).
