Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

ah yes but there is always the coveted Cathay business class flight. i have one coming up shortly.
No, you're not the only one :) . I didn't "bank" mine, I just take the $10 off each time I get enough points, which takes a while LOL. I'd never convert the points to QFF in any case as (a) I wouldn't accumulate enough points through shopping to get anywhere near a usable amount and (b) I don't - and won't - fly with Qantas anyway.

However that does not stop you using them on the rest of the airlines linked...

The only way for me to earn QF points is sign on bonuses not the few WOW points, buy every little bit helps when the balance is close to becoming useful. I use them on whatever is available.

With the fairly limited amount of travel we do (all self-funded), it makes far more sense for us to concentrate on one FF program so as to be able to keep status and the associated benefits, so all our flying is with VA and their partners.

Got 6090 qantas points heading over to QFF. Email came in tonight indicating will be completed by 26th December. Already heading toward another 2000 woolies dollars to start for next quarter.

same email - QFF points posted about an hour later...great service

I agree up to a point.

For example - we concentrate on VFF predominantly but there are a number of city pairs where there is no way to get a points redemption flight, say London/Innsbruck (that I have uncovered - yet). Also as it is a BA flight there is MUCH MORE availability. Sometimes I have been able to get 5 seats as a reward redemption.

In that case then the redemption of a significantly smaller number of points from the 'enemy' scheme covers that flight. Result family holiday paid for from points gained from purchases that were to be made anyway. Not one purchased point to be seen. The only way to fly.

Although, some of the Q sign-on bonuses are very enticing - one that is up currently would cover 12 one-way intra-European flights...

Points redemption flights aren't really on the radar for us at all - as mentioned, we don't/can't do a huge amount of travel, there's only the two of us travelling (so no chance of gaining additional SCs and points from other family members from pooling etc) and most importantly, the flights we do take almost always need to be eligible to obtain the required sectors and SCs for requalifying with VA, so redemption flights would be of little use to us in that regard. It's very rare for us to do any trips over those - much as we'd love have the time to travel more, our employers have different ideas LOL. We do use points for upgrades (coast-to-coast domestic and long-haul international) which works very well for us.

Accumulation of points is obviously important (and even vital) to many AFFers, as their travel plans often seem to be based around redemption flights, but it's not something that's relevant for us, given our travel requirements (and our spending patterns), so I'll take the $$ off my shopping over QFF points any day of the week :)

No offers from Woolworths Rewards came through today. Sunday is usually the day when offers are sent out. I'll just be doing small top up shops at Woolworths and Coles this week using up credits from previous targeted offers.

i seem to have two email addresses for woolworths. has anyone had any problem with getting bonuses posted when activating the secondary email?

i am looking forward to the time when NSW liquor laws become sensible and BWS will recede into the dust. They must be expecting it because the shops are so often located right next to Woolworths. I am an online shopper who buys the annual delivery deal. I have found the new program more useful.Since i buy a lot of wine it is easy for me to get to the 100 minimum spend for the cheap delivery option. Just make sure that when activating bonus offers that they are for the card that you are using.

I have in the recent past received offers for a card that I asked to be cancelled years ago, and activated them, without realising that they were directed to a card I no longer had. I used my current card and of course no bonuses posted. I called the helpline and they sorted it out for me, including posting the bonus points to my current card. :)

thanks. i have only one card, and i feel, ;) that i missed out on one but in the end i found i had deleted the email so had no real position to argue from.. too tidy with the email bin... i would like not to worry about it.
