Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

I just got a store survey as I went in for the first time in a while to get some frozen meals (Mrs WF thinks the Butter Chicken is better than the competitions) and keep at least one fuel voucher active.

I'm afraid they won't like my comments about Woolworths Rewards... Or my comparison of the deli with IGA's.

But then I haven't seen a WWR email in a LONG time

Happy wandering

I am getting a lot of offer fails this past month:

1. An email offer for 10c/litre off fuel valid for multiple uses over a month failed to trigger on two transactions. WOW helpline gave me a single use 10c/litre off as a make good. My maths says they only half made good.
2. My shareholder offer for spend $100 get 2,000 pts didn't trigger on three separate attempts and store service desk told me to ring the helpline. Nil service recovery attempted by WOW.
3. A coupon given when buying fuel for spend $100 get 2,000 pts failed. Didn't bother chasing.

I'm three weeks into a four week offer for 14,000 points, so I'll see this one through. But it's back to Coles for me after that.

Even 5% off wish cards and being a shareholder isn't enough to keep me coming back for these hassles.

Gosh, you've had a pretty bad run there. I had a 10x points offer for petrol in October which didn't work and I haven't bothered chasing a couple of dollars worth of points. Apart from that things have mostly worked well except for 2000 points which have been credited to one of our family accounts but hasn't transferred over to $10 off. I'm hoping that the next time we use that card it will convert over during the transaction and we'll get $10 off from the second transaction. I'm not sure when we'll use that card again however.

Interesting twist to my saga of having 2 offers.

Hi John,

Good news! 3000 bonus points earned from your 2-week bonus offer have just been added to your balance.

Keep an eye on your inbox for more exclusive offers to save you money off your shop.

So they are referring to it as a bonus offer. With next week's shop I would expect the 16,000 points for meeting the original 4 week target and an extra 3,000 bonus points for meeting the 2nd week of the 2 week bonus offer. Very confusing.

I hope this is how it works out.

There is a risk that they will think that the transaction counted for the 2 week bonus offer but not the 4 week offer and getting the points for the 2 week offer will stop you getting the points for the 4 week offer. This is one of the reasons I'm worried about the interactions of the 2 week and the 4 week offers. I'm carefully setting up my shopping transactions so the system doesn't get confused. I'm doing a $40 transaction early in each week to get the 2 week offer and then an $80 transaction late in each week to qualify for the 4 week offer.

I am speculating of course. I am hoping doing the transactions the way you are doing them will get you points from both offers. I could have mis-interpreted how the system is going to allocate the transactions and rewards. I suggest you shop the best way for you and keep track of the transactions and the offers as best you can so you can follow things up later. I'll keep an eye on things as best I can. I'm having to work harder to keep track of our family accounts but it's still worth all the rewards and the time I put into it.

10x points at BWS received today, another bonus offer to be sent on Thursday according to e-mail.

Yes, I have the same email. I think there will be a series of offers in the run up to Christmas from what an email last week said.

seems i've been able to get 2 offers for 1

orig had a 4 week 6000 points offer for $40 spend each week - points at the end of the 4 weeks

then when the woolworths reward site had a meltdown last weekend got a 2 week offer of 2000 points for $65 spending each week (4000 in total)

have received email to conform my $40 spend was recognised and received the 2000 points since I spent $80. $50 total return for $2* 40 and 2 * 65 spends is quite nice.

glad flybuys lets me count buying telstra recharges as part of my $50 spend to get $50 back otherwise i'd not have any cupboard space left with the amount of extra buying i've been doing to meet my spending tarkets betwen the 2. think i'll only be buying meat and dairy from next week for a month

I completed my 4 week promotion today. The 10,000 points have already been credited to my account along with another 2000 points for using a coupon which for 2000 points for a $100 spend.

2 family members got an offer of 1500 bonus points each just for purchasing something at Woolworths before Sunday. It's a top up offer where you only have to spend at least 5 cents to get the points. I wasn't planning to go to Woolworths again before Sunday but I think it's worth it now to get a banana or two. I've got to get petrol anyway so I'll use the WW petrol station next to the supermarket and pick up the bonus points then.

I received a similar offer, 1700 points for me :). I've hardly received any offers over the past few months and those I did get were stupidly high spend targets, so didn't take any of them up - wonder if that's why i got this "top up" offer?

I completed my 4 week promotion today as well, but forgot to produce the coupon for the 2000 points offer until after I had paid. Annoyed with myself.

Triple points offer for me. 1500 "free" points for Mrs WF to take her total over 2000 before Christmas.
I'm signed up for QFF transfer. She is not.
