Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

They are really pushing the EDR Extra at the moment, is a whole heap of press instore, tv, and so on. So it’s clear they are investing the dollars in the 10% and not the points anymore. Obviously a big differentiator vs Coles.

I do miss those spend xx and get 15000 point offers though! My QFF points balance skyrocketed over those years.

I’m starting to wonder if the algo has been adjusted to include GC purchases.

We have two accounts in the family that have had no grocery spend for many weeks.

This was due to a lack of offers, and a 4 week target at Coles.

Both accounts have been used the past fortnight for GC purchases and both have sprung back to life with great weekly offers like:

$360 for 1,800pts
$380 for 1,800pts

We’ve never spent that amount on either account besides GC, so perhaps the GC purchases are now being used in the calculation of spend targets.

I went back and checked my 2023 spend and it wasn't notable in November, though October had some big numbers. (Wondering if they might be using like seasonal average spend to set targets and rewards)
