And I sat next to him the next day (last Wednesday) for MEL-BNE!My most recent brush with celebrities was last Tuesday flying SYD-MEL on QF.

. Sophie Monk sat in the seat behind me from LA. etc.
Cool, I love the show, but hate the US over-dramatisation. Give me Kat Cora as my personal chef though
Agree, I love the original Japanese version...if only I knew more Japanese and it didn't have the vioceover translation
Anyway back to the topic,I have sat next to Peter Costello on a CBR-MEL flight, and been in the next row behind Rolf Harris on a SYD-LHR flight (that was in PE).
Another fan of Sakai.Loved his restaurant in Tokyo.Have also been to those of Chen Kenichi,Michiba and Morimoto's first USA restaurant in Philly in 2002.Yes we are fans of the program. The US version is terrible.
Seems that a lot of people think Chairman Kaga is a real person - my other half (The Spending Machine) was devastated when confronted with the truth!
I'd like to have Sakai as my personal chef, but I have a feeling I'd be in hospital with severe coronary artery disease within a month.
Did he ask you who made your paper hat?- Ray Martin on a DOM J flight
Was he wearing his hat, or was it in the overhead bin?- Molly Meldrum on a DOM J flight
Had he by chance stolen Jamie's hat (or beret to be specific) and brought it with him?- Adam Savage from Mythbusters on a LAX-LAS flight in October
No but he did pull me from the audience during the ad breakDid he ask you who made your paper hat?
Hat-on, surprisingly. Was he wearing his hat, or was it in the overhead bin?
He had his Akubra on actually, which he took off once on board (he was up in F, one of the few flights I was actually down the back of the bus in the US).Had he by chance stolen Jamie's hat (or beret to be specific) and brought it with him?
The sad part is, I know the show and the sketch exactly. I just miss them from the D-Gen and The Late Show in the late 80's/early 90's.Sorry, with three people who I can make hat references about I couldn't resist. If you didn't get the first one, go digging through 90's drive radio shows for this obscure reference.

This morning in the CX Wing F Lounge (at HKG) I saw Jamie Oliver and his entourage... He was using one of the PCs in the lounge.
