Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Just out of interest, with the exception of politicians, how do AFFers find that 'celebrities' react when someone else (not an AFFer, of course) stares at them as if to say 'I know you from somewhere, but can't quite - quite - place you?' or greets them by their Christian name as in 'hi Leigh, how are you?' as if they were friends?

Do some of these 'celebrities' have a habit of looking at the floor a fair bit as they walk around airport lounges (and airports generally) so that they don't have to make eye contact with strangers who stare?

No, I just generally walk around with my head held high ;)

I don't mind people staring, it is the souvenir hunters that annoy me.

:p

I said to Willie Nelson once at Sydney airport duty free, years ago as he and some go his band were looking around (all wearing black jackets with gold wording on back like - Wille Nelson World Tour), "not sure what it is about you but I've ........g well seen you before somewhere!", he laughed and put his hand on my shoulder and said to his gang " hey guys you have to love these Aussies!" Mrs lime broke up laughing too.

Belinda Neal and John Della Bosca in Row 24 on QF446 yesterday afternoon. Seems that there's no J or CL for disgraced political hacks ;)

Sent to the "back of the room" like naughty school children

Mat at ADL airport yesterday Ric Shaw, Andrew Bollom and James Parish. Not sure if anybody here knows these guys - depends how closely you follow motor sport.

Kind of while flying... In Melbourne for the loyalty lunch, in the gym at the Crown, Mrs Grogan points out that the attractive blonde next to us on the treadmills was Portia De Rossi.

Sydney Swans in the Lounge and my (eventual) flight today. Also saw John Brumby wandering through the VA terminal
