The prime minister of Vanuatu and his wife (and some staff) on Air Vanuatu NF30, Port Vila to Melbourne last night. All seated in row 1. I was in row 3. They were of course the very last to board.

It was interesting to watch how the arrival process in Melbourne was handled - all pretty casual. He even had to wait briefly at the baggage carousel in Melbourne! His bags arrived on the carousel 5 minutes before all the rest. And there were a few minders and officials around. I doubt if many of the non-Vanuatu passengers on the plane even knew who he was - I did because I had been reading the Vanuatu daily newspaper. Quite a heavy 16 page read! I had a copy with me and showed +1 the picture of our fellow passenger on page 3...

Yeah I'd guess traveling on port account. My wife's family has a few connections with Port and we've had current players at our place. So I had a very brief chat while waiting to get off the plane.
