My 7 yo daughter would love to sit next to any of the One Direction lads - and I'd be happy as that would keep her occupied for hours. I have to agree - fame hasn't yet spoiled them.

Well my colleague sat next to a member of OneD on the QF108 which landed late in Sydney on Nov 25. He now realised that in the same upstairs cabin was 5SOS.

Apparently no one gave a brass razoo who was in that cabin. And the CC did not change their demeanour.



I suppose the crowd that sits upstairs in J on a QF 747 will be "over the hill", generally male road warriors, and the CC probably also "over the hill" as well.....

I wonder what would happen if these boy bands travelled VA?.

While waiting in the QF F Lounge at SYD for our delayed QF 127 a couple of weeks back, Joel and Benji Madden were escorted in and set up in one if the private rooms. They quickly emerged and sat amongst the rest of the lounge guests. What a polite and easy going pair they appear to be.

I shared PE on VA2 from LAX to SYD mid Dec last year with 5SOS - seated near them. They were in the Star Alliance lounge too.

No one made a fuss at all.

Had no idea who they were at the time (at not hit the headlines as such as recently) but figured they were a boy band based on the hairdos and then the small crowd of teenage girls at arrivals backed it up.

5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) in the Star Alliance Lounge at TBIT and then shared the PE cabin with them on VA2 on Wednesday.

Admit having no idea who they were (could tell they were a boy band) and given the number of excited teenage girls at Sydney airport, some googling was needed to identify them!
