Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Whilst it wasn't in a lounge or on his plane, We did get a wave as he drove by today.

Totally random and made the kids day. (Ok and me too!)

Saw Kim Coates (or Tig) from Sons of Anarchy in the LAX QF Lounge heading to London on 12th November.

Dressed like he had come straight from the set, minus the leather vest.

Seemed nice and had no hesitation taking photos with a couple of fans

My missus saw Grant Denyer in the SYD F Lounge back around the start of November when we were there. I didn't notice him. Apparently, he's quite short.

Think Chelsea Handler walked past me as I was queuing to speak to a Lounge Angel at the BA T5 Galleries First Lounge. She had a plate was was walking away from the entrance (to the Concorde room??)

Harry Kewell on QF678 in 4B this morning. I didn't have a clue who he was but +1 recognised him as did a few school girls in MEL when we landed. At least he seemed happy to have photos taken with them.

Kamahl was sitting in 5F on a VA BNE-SYD flight on Friday night. Tough times?

I didn't quite recognise him and he is looking younger than his 80 years. A little bit rude though as he pushed past the guy that got up out of 5D to get into aisle after landing. The guy in 5D didn't know who he was and we had a chat until the luggage carousel.

Sitting in front of me in on my NZ>SYD flight, I suspect it was NZ celebrity chef/Master Chef judge Simon Gault.

What leads me to this conclusion is the completely over the top fawning by our FA. The guy was 5A and was served constantly before the 8 other people sitting in front of him and a couple of Y FA's came by to discuss recipes/cooking and something about fish stock and ravioli at some point.

Why are people so unkind?

Melb to Syd J class last week, sat across the aisle from Ray Martin.

I grew up watching Ray on 60 minutes. He was so lovely to cabin staff, softly spoken and respectful. Exactly how I always thought he would be.

Syd to Melb W class…Vince Sorenti across the aisle from me. Also very quiet….

TQ
