Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Flew in on QF94 this morning in 16E with a well-known Australian actor beside me in 16F.
After processing through customs, I bumped into her whilst waiting for my limo driver. Julia Morris then introduced me to her husband Dan saying " This is coriander, the man I slept with last night!":lol:
How crude. Who was the actor, by the way?

Why on earth would "they" have done that? Who is this person? A teenage idol? A local heroine?

Never heard of her.

"They" would've done that because that's what happens to baggage when you pay that sort of fare.

She's allegedly famous, did it warrant your bile?

Cate Blanchett just walked past with her baby girl and the nanny

Sitting behind me actually

1st brush with a Hollywood A lister

My Bose 25 would inoculate me against her baby I'm sure

Hi friends.
So, have been back in SYD about 4 days. Had a nice invite from QF/AA to a little soiree at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. It was to celebrate the launch of LAX-SYD by AA and SYD-SFO by QF, plus the showing off of the first AA plane in SYD in 15 years. Little fly around the harbour this morning, then 6 hours of showing it off at Mascot today to all and sundry.
Anyway, nice speeches and drinks tonight. Didn't think there were many FQTV's there, mostly company staff , politicians, diplomats etc. I did get to shake hands with Alan Joyce and Doug Parker and have a little chat. A Pyrrhic victory , I know many of you will say!
Anyway, on to the famous person. Was chatting to a few of the AA pursers - they flew 11 out to host (in uniform) the visitors on board the 773 this afternoon. They all loved being here and can't wait to fly down here. And, an attractive younger woman (AA Purser 20+ years seniority) I chatted to a bit, could have been our Fifa's twin sister!
Honestly - spitting image - age, hair ,figure, smile. So my famous person story tonight is I have seen Fifa's double! Have a great weekend everyone. John!
(And ,Russell - warning - there are two!)

The deputy mayor of Sydney's Auburn, and handbag, I mean wife - I don't even want to repeat the name lest my head roll off my shoulders.

QF422 Melbourne to Sydney on 30 October. I had pre selected the two centre suites in Row 6, then moved my partner and I to Row 4 as they had opened up. The two aforementioned people were seated in Row 6. Ha!

Really scraping the bottom of the "famous" barrel but wanted to contribute lol

Surprised he wasn't in his own private jet..oh that's right he's only fictitiously famous.

Not quite current but the Adelaide 36ers (basketball) flew on our VA flight SYD-ADL last Friday. Some tall boys there as you'd imagine. We flicked on the telly on Saturday night and saw them playing the Townsville team. Funny recognising them on the court then.

Spotted... on The Guardian.

Who knew that our PM (I can't image he'd be loading a staffer's bag into a car, though it could be Lucy's) holds KrisFlyer Gold with SQ. Not that he needs it now that he has the RAAF at his disposal. Interesting little tidbit from his current jaunt.

Was her husband in a lower cabin?

I think it's fascinating that every PM takes their own luggage out of C-1 for the flight - I can only assume its done for the optics on the news.
