Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

I'm waiting for someone to say they were on QF 2 that arrived this am and saw Harry and Meghan ;)

I laughed watching the news last night when they interviewed a fellow passenger about them and he said he didn't know they were on his flight. The interviewer then asked if they'd received and "special treatment" which was about as dumb a question as you could ask.

Some of the Brisbane bullets in J lounge BNE yesterday.
Last night walking back from AFF drinks literally bumped into Jessica Gomes exiting a night club.
She is on the front page of this morning's Advertiser which is when I recognised her!

Damn, maybe I need to start attending some more AFF drinks.

I guess spotting Daryl Braithwaite in the SYD QF J Lounge as he did a performance before the LRE charity flight doesn't quite count, does it? ;):D

3B beside my 3A seat MEL to ADL last Friday was Chad Wingard on his way back from induction / media stuff for Hawthorn.

A few people this week;

John Brumby (former Vic premier) in the QF MEL F lounge Friday,
David(?) Boon (cricketer) MEL this morning.
Cal Wilson (comedian) MEL this morning.

Just flew with Kate Langbrooke and Grant Denyer from Syd-Mel (also saw Marty Sheregold in the lounge) both were going on about Ed Kavalee so must be on their way to HYBPA.
Kate in J, Grant in row 7. Also on flight was Josh Frydenberg in row 1.

I was in row 10 and completely unnoticed by the minor celebs and the Treasurer.

Peter Jackson (NZ film director) in the Dubai First Class lounge last week.

Mention him just because I was very lucky to get an invitation to one of the premiere screenings of They Shall Not Grow Old in the UK on the 21st of October, and was very impressed with the film (amazing footage and technical achievement) and the Q&A simulcast afterward.

Slight negative is he was sprawled across two easy chairs and had his legs and feet up on the table. Perhaps I should have congratulated him on the film then told him there are some places in the lounge to lie down comfortably in peace? Oh well, maybe next time.

Think you'll find that it was the Rugby League team that lost to England on the weekend, not the rugby Union team as they play England on Saturday and I'll be barracking for Eddie Jones!

Series victory snared by England at Anfield | NZRL

The Rugby Union team was in Japan last weekend and won 69 to 31.

Maori All Blacks played at Soldier field over the weekend, so it'll definitely be some Rugby players seen.
