Shared VA J from ADL - CBR with Corey Bernardi and Sarah Hanson Young on Sunday. When I saw them in the lounge, I'm not sure which I was hoping for more:

1. I'd be sat next to her (she enjoys the company of men, apparently, and I could set up a single buddy of mine), or

2. They'd be sat next to each other, and there'd be a fair chance of Barney Rubble.

Neither happened.

Whilst I don't dig the vibe of either of them, but because I like spade callers, I find them both admirable.

Possibly one of the better combos to see some angst (or more likely silence) but in my experience of hundreds of flights in and out of Canberra over the years our politicians all get on fine, and some who the public may perceive to be fierce opponents actually enjoy a good chat on a plane. It's all a show.
