Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Just came through BNE DJ Security with Jonathan Browne from BNE Lions and now in The Lounge with the whole team on their way to MEL
He and most of the other Lions were in the MEL DJ lounge awaiting their flight back to BNE Sunday evening.

Michelle Bridges from the Biggest Loser in SYD F Lounge on Friday 1 June. This hot woman is having a few glasses of bubbly with her breakfast as we speak.

Bubbly for breakfast? Sounds like the kind of PT most people would kill for!

Rick Stein walking into the HSW whilst I was walking out - he also followed us to Mollymook at New Year so I think he is stalking me (although technically he does own the hotel/restaurant we were staying at).

Late last year I was flying to Brisbane for work and the night before I checked in, discovered I had the exit row seat and left it at that. Went to the airport the next day and did the check in booth thing, got my boarding pass only to discover I wasn't in the exit row seat anymore.. (It didn't bother me much cos I had moved further towards the front). Anyways.. when I boarded the plane I had a look to see who was in my exit row seat..

It was Capt. Paul Watson from Sea Shepherd.

Well he is used to bumping people!

I have kissed Rick Stein  - he really is a great guy. I did a 2 day cooking course at his Mollymook house ( just down from the hotel ) not long after he opened the hotel restaurant. We had a great time.

A junior Canadian dive team just got on QF730. Judging by the track suit top with a red maple leaf, bisected by a diving figure and their youthful appearance (oh and the word junior on some of the tops)

Ahh so they were American!!

Rule 1 for US Citizens: When traveling overseas, always wear an obvious Maple Leaf so people will assume you are Canadian and will treat you well.

Of course this only works on the assumption that the intended people are as abysmal at foreign affairs as Americans are! its one of them postivie feedback loop things..

It wasn't just a maple leaf :p  but a uniform track suit and matching unique logo.

Did you stay/cook at Rick's Place? We stayed at the Bannisters Beach House (not on the beach) over New Year - it was his birthday whilst we were there...

We ( 12 ladies from the Sunshine Coast ) stayed at Bannisters, but the cooking was done at Ricks house. We had two special dinners in the restaurant. Great food, lots of wine and a really fun couple of days. This was a trial run to see how things would go if Rick wanted to do "cooking school " type of things. The guy who owns Bannisters ( cant remember his name !) was really hoping he would love to do again !!! Rick was great, talked about anything and everything, and really loves to cook. We had a great time :D

Arrived in Budapest a couple of days ago - had Goldie Hawn seated a couple of rows behind me. Her luggage was conveniently monogrammed with her initials for those who weren't sure.
