Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

We had the entire wallabies team on our DeathStar flight today from Newcastle to Brisbane. Had James Slipper next to me, Robbie Deans in the seat behind and David Pocock in the seat in front.

And yes, they looked sorry for themselves but rather thawed out after last night against Scotland.

Greg.

Belated update but recent events reminded me that we had James Hogan (CEO of Etihad) on our AUH-MAN flight a few weeks ago. It was the night before Man City clinched the Premier League and the J cabin was heavily populated with senior EY marketing and management types from the snippets of conversation overheard. Fortunately it all worked out for them the next day... just.

Robbie did ask what I was doing on Saturday night. Sitting in between two beefy props I hope he didn't mistake me for a hooker (because I'm definitely a loosehead).

Well other hookers have mistaken who they've been with so why not mistake someone for a hooker? If you accept HSU credit cards you may well be a hooker.

These are a little old, but here e go.....

Lovelace Watkins: Melbourne to Launceston 1978 (Wikipedia his name but my mum loved him) - same plane
Sally Boyden: Adelaide to Sydney 1985 from the old Young Talent Time - sat next to her
Ernie Dingo: Brisbane to Cairns 1992 (approx) - sat next to him
Barry Otto: Melbourne to Sydney mid nineties - same plane
Guy Sebastian: Adelaide to Sydney 2006 'ish -same plane and got his autograph when all our luggage was delayed
Anthony Callea & Tim Campbell San Francisco to Sydney 2010 - sat next to them

That's it for now
