Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

The South Sydney Rabbitohs at BNE airport this morning.

Not sure if they had lounge access or not but they were on my flight BNE-SYD and down the back somewhere. Recognised Greg Inglis but I am hopeless with names and faces. Perfectly well behaved even after their loss. They must have come a long way from the Julian O'neill days. :shock:

We had noticed him come in around 7pm and we didn't approach him until we were thinking of leaving.

He had heard us talking about flying, so we then had a chat about QF, CX, Oneworld, Air Berlin and his hate of United. We got him interested in the AAdvantage system and he picked up on the better earn & burn ratios.

Then we turned to Health Care and finally, the photos (courtesy of the Lounge staff).

Great pics. Yes he is an aviation fan/phile. Had a long chat with him at a work do about the SR-71 among other things many years ago - very friendly and approachable too.

He must of bought his ticket at the last minute as the seat showed as empty that morning. Full business cabin that lunch time flight.
