I saw her drive away from the W, Taipei in May. I was excited and just a little sad I didn't get a better look because of the many screaming fans trying to get close to her car.

Was at the DJ Lounge at SYD T2 yesterday morning and saw the GWS Giants AFL team in there. Oddly enough, the lounge had a small but yet distinct "locker room" smell in the air when I was near the food servery (where most of the players sat and had breakfast).

I had a DJ flight back in March where the entire AFL Fremantle Dockers team was on the flight. Was an interesting experience. There was pretty much constantly a couple of them standing up in the aisle doing various stretches etc. Always polite and quick to get out of the way if someone was trying to get past though.

Have been on a flight with Tim Freedman (of The Whitlams fame), didn't speak with him as I have met him in a music shop in Newtown previously (not to mention when getting stuff signed after shows).
Former NSW Premier and now head of Basketball Australia Kristina Keneally was on a recent flight of mine from Sydney to Brisbane as part of her work with a Still Birth charity, she's lovely.
Karl Urban (Dr McCoy from the new Star Trek movies) was on a flight of mine from LAX to Auckland in his pre-Star Trek, post Lord of the Rings days... Didn't get a chance to chat though.
Saw Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis & the new Conan movie) checking in at Melbourne airport a few weeks ago.
Have also been on flights with Michael Muhney (Veronica Mars, Young & The Restless) Mercedes McNabb (Buffy), Elisabeth Rohm (Law & Order) and I believe Miranda Otto was on a recent flight of mine from Brisneyland to Sydney, but not 100% certain of that, just caught a glimpse at the gate.

When I was slightly tubbier than my current self I was often recognised by people as being Kyle Sandilands - and it wasn't always friendly. This would usually only happen when in Sydney.

Had QF hosties note the similarity, and pax at Sydney QP taking photos with mobile phones. Amusing

I very recently walked past Mr and Mrs Howard. I heard/recognized his voice first, and did a bit of a double take. Yes it was him, confirmed with a glance.
In the Pier First Class Lounge of CX in HKG. ( calling og )
BTW - mini Pier review. (The Wing is closed). Noisy, overcrowded, and a simple breakfast order in the noisy eatery was delivered only 50% correct. I would have to say that my recent SYD and MEL Qantas First experiences surpass the only CX first lounge experience currently available in HKG. Happy travels. John.
