Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

I haven't seen any real 'famous' people in the air for quite some time. I'm not sure if this is because:
(a) There weren't any famous people on my flight
(b) My definition of famous is quite strict (C grade celebrities and below don't count)
(c) I didn't recognise them
(d) I was too absorbed with the glass of champagne in front of me to notice.


Probably mostly (c) and (d)

JL517 yesterday.18 Sumos on flight,only 1 in J.Was very squeezy down the back.However on arrival at CTS the one in J was being mobbed for autographs and pictures so guess he is one of the best.So looked him up on google and he is Baruto.

In the Virgin lounge in MEL right now. Both the Gold Coast Suns and the Sydney Swans are here. FWIW the Suns players all pretty much look like teenagers.

On the Saturday 28/7 I saw the Sydney Suns at OOL.

Today I saw Julia Gillard at the Esplanade in Cairns. There were about 5 camera crews following her. She was talking about Cairns hosting the G20 finance ministers conference. After that she was quite approachable making small talk and posing for photos with passerbys. She came across a lot personable than she does on TV. She had just had a weeks holiday at Port Douglas.

I saw her again at Cairns airport a few hours later. I didn't see what plane she took. Looked like there was an Air Force BBJ at the airport, although I didn't get close to it so not sure.

Not sure about All of them. But one of he suns players is the son of my cousin. And he is still a teenager (just).
But at over 6 ft 4 in , still looks like he can grow some more yet .....
