I briefly meet Tryin Bingham in the SYD F lounge yesterday. Well at the reception area. Would have liked to stay for a beer but they were calling my flight.

You're talking about a completely different person. I met the AFF member Tryin Bingham. Contrary to your reply an AFF member does go by that handle.

Oh I never disputed Tryin Bingham existed. I have no knowledge of that Person, but I have caught up with Ryan Bingham a few times

Yes. He's far more MP centric (as I tend to be these days).

Was in a QF flight last year from Per to Adelaide with Michael Buble.

He was obviously travelling in Business Class on a 738 and pepole kept going up front to get a photo with him!

I was also standing about 3 metres from him at the bggage claim but had no idea who he was until about an hour after leaving the airport!

He is really really short in real life and not that much to look at either.

Hamish and Andy came in for a quick breakfast just now at SYD T3 J lounge. They were very nice to the people who interrupted their eating to have a couple of photos!

There must have been someone famous on QF2 last night, I could hear the crew from my seat (won't select 13B again as it is too close to the galley) talking about her and how fabulous and friendly she was, as I don't have a clue of the who is who and I didn't catch a name I wouldn't have noticed if someone famous was sitting next to me

It must really show who the 'nice' celebrities are and sort them out from the rest when they turn up at a lounge and have to deal with people asking for autographs or photos being taken with them. Surprises me that Qantas's Sydney First Class lounge doesn't have a VIP area closed off from everything, like Chairman's Lounge, given the number of VIPs they must have going through there!

I was in the queue at the airport newsagent in Perth and realized I was standing behind Chris Martin of Coldplay. The guy in front of us both was short about 50cents on his purchase, and Chris offered to pay for the whole thing. The lucky guy never realized, while I stood there, mouth wide open, realizing how close I was to some really famous. He then bounded up the escalator to the QP and I stood glued to the spot....

I also saw Westlife (boy band) at LHR many many years ago. They were eating mcdonalds and left food and rubbish all over the floor. No one seemed to care they were there.

I believe Paul Barry sat down beside me traveling SYD - MEL this afternoon. He received an op-up to J when the door shut, and I scored a spare seat beside me. Win-win

I am told by people who know stuff about league that I saw Trent Barrett in WGA this morning. Wouldn't have known him from a bar of soap, although I worked with a doctor of the same name so when the footy chap's name was mentioned I was looking for someone completely different!
