Was walking into MEL The Lounge at 1.30pm today and (literally) ran into Lara Bingle.
What a horrid fate ...

Ouch - why all the LB hate?
The person has a reputation as being more of a "hanger on" than being anyone of real note. Also, she is not currently licenced to drive.

She lost her license because she had committed at least 6 driving offences in 2012. While suspended she was further involved in a traffic incident before fleeing the scene. She appeared in court for this last month and was fined, received a further year driving ban and an 18-month good behaviour bond.

I know it's only wiki, but see here: Lara Bingle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I don't even know who Lara Bingle is... I certainly wouldn't recognise her in a lounge.

Just got off DJ MEL-OOL. Was sitting next to a very nice gentleman, Tom Warick who is/was Chairman of CAMS (Motorsport) For a huge motorsport nut it was fantastic to have a good chat with someone about V8s, F1's and everything inbetween. One of the best seat-mates I've ever had.

So your assertion is that the roads are safe for a while......jolly good.

Spotted Vince Sorrenti & family as well as Rebecca Gibney in SYD Dom Bus lounge yesterday. Also John Eales was seated in row 1 SYD-BNE flight. Today noticed Robbie Deans in a huddle (deep discussion with small crowd about last nights game/farce no doubt) at BNE Dom check in and Phil Kearns in BNE Dom Bus lounge - I'm all celebrity spotting exhausted.

"Skroo" Turner in the BNE Koru Lounge yesterday. He took the AKL flight

I had a lovely older lady in row 4 tonight, CL Emerald on the BP and travelling with an Order of Australia holder. QF765 SYD-ADL. I have no idea who it was but remembered the mention of the NSW governor flying Y earlier in the thread. Anyway notable and the whole aircraft seemed to pay due respect, including crew.
