Nice lounge - definitely the best of the available OW lounges.

After some information here (I like an AFFer who goes places I am planning for :))
How did you travel to see the monkeys? As a day trip or did you overnight? We are looking at going to Japan again over Christmas and I'm trying to sort out a draft itinerary. I take it these are at Jigokudani not the ones out of Hakodate.

No worries, I'll post all the details I have.

Just need to catch up on the TR - I'm running a few days late.

Have just caught up on your TR, amaroo. Thank God I had just finished a Bento Box before I read it, as I was salivating looking at some of your photos. Looking forward to the rest of the TR, particularly as they are my 3 favourite Asian countries.

We were watching that live on NHK-didn't notice you in the audience-we were watching out!

"How are you. Excuse me, I don't speak Japanese" - one of the first phrases I perfected before my trip to Japan in 1992 to attend a friends wedding - along with two beers, hello, good morning/afternoon/evening etc. Biggest problem after saying that was most (older) Japanese started talking to me in (fast) Japanese :o

How's your Japanese amaroo? Genki des ka? Sumi masen, watashi wa nihon go o hanashi masen.

LOL the kids know more Japanese than I ever will.

Gave them quite a few laughs with my pathetic attempts to say the simplest things.

You'd better catch up this thread, as you've posted photos ahead (on another thread) :o

Please have a glass of the Moss Wood and Voyager for me :D

Just arrived home - will catch up fairly quickly.

In more interesting news - I have updated my flight map/tracker and have finally pushed through 800 sectors and 1,000,000 BIS miles :D

Was very nice.

It looks like those RMs need a polish ! Did they get a shoe shine in the Pen??

They received multiply shines - The Pen, The Prince Gallery, and the JL F lounge .... trouble is - they are old just like me ;)

Taken somewhere over the Taiwan.

Haven't flown JL for around 15 years. Nice enough flight, the seat/capsule was borderline claustrophobic.... but the lie flat bed made up for it.

The food was very tasty and the beverages were above average.... the 100SC was icing on the cake

Damn, I'd better get some long haul flying done soon or you'll catch me up on miles...still got you on the sectors

Was very nice.

Made me go and look up CellarTracker and check out my Moss Woods...lip smacking wines

Who are you calling old  - we're the same age, remember :o

They say your first million is the hardest ;)

The most pleasing thing about my milestone is the stats...

Leisure flight = 68.3% of all flights
First and Business = 63.3% of total distance
I've still got 4/5 the world to explore

IIRC I'm younger ;)

Then moved on to a lunch appointment at Nahm...

The day was completed with one of the best Tandoor we've had.

First Nahm, I booked this months ago and we were very keen to finally tick the box on this establishment.

As usual, we were the last to leave 

We had dinner there on Monday night - delightful! Only disappointment was that Mr Katie felt full, and could barely touch his dessert.

Four course buffet breakfasts were killing his appetite all day!

Right, you've shamed me into getting my flights onto AFF Flight Tracker...finally! Just got to download from BA97 then delete some data and put it in correct format IIRC

IIRC I'm younger ;)

IIRC we are the same year, so it could only be no more than 4 months...that's close enough :D
