No SIN OW lounge open before 3pm

So it's the Dnata lounge for us... third party lounge for CX.

Basic, but good enough...

I am on EK432 in F April 12th and I believe the EK lounge is closed for renovations so looks like the dnata lounge for me on the way home. I don't believe the QF lounge will be open at that time of day. Have been in the dnata once before and yes very basic. As we often say on this forum ..... First world problems!

IIRC the QP doesn't open until 3pm. Dnata lounge was ok - above average for a third party gig IMO.

Dinner the first night in BKK was at Thiptara, the Thai restaurant at the Pen. It was a very special occasion as we were joined by the famous mrs.dr.ron and drron

Yesterday was a bit of a nothing day - one of those perfect holi..day where you do nothing but eat, sleep, and swim!

And, eat we did...

It started with the lovely Pen breakfast - see post above...

Then moved on to a lunch appointment at Nahm...

The day was completed with one of the best Tandoor we've had.


First Nahm, I booked this months ago and we were very keen to finally tick the box on this establishment.

Did you enjoy Nahm? We went back in 2012 and whilst the food was good for the most part, the service wasn't great. I am keen to go to Gaggan if we go back to BKK.
