Are we all getting changed into F & J PJs for the flight?

Excellent idea. "What to wear" question solved.

Absolutely. There's a chance we will make front page of the Sunday Mail.

I can try and get local media coverage if you really want it. Be careful what you wish for though! I can just imagine the angle that some media might take about this event.

Perhaps we should change the title of the thread to: "QF81/82 Enhancement Celebration"

"Improvement" I think they called it.

Anna, if we were willing to publicly have a go at QF for cutting the service, I could guarantee at least one TV news as well. We would however look like a bunch of knobs.

And upgrades might dry up after that as well

Was just thinking how typically Adelaide it would be if some of us Adelaide people recognise each other when we meet up.:D

In an effort to take the pressure off straitman updating the first thread so often, I have put together a Google docs spreadsheet that I am able to update easily.

The link is Farewell QF81/82 attendees - Google Docs

It is able to be read by anyone with the link.

If I have transferred anything across in error, let me know.

I have booked the Hilton and have executive lounge access now so I should be able to guest one in.

We are seats 30 A&B on QF81 and yes we will be there for Sat dinner :)

are we at 26 pax on QF81 now.....? what an amazing effort, looking forward to the day and evening events...

However I can see issues with 21 people all agreeing on a place for dinner on the Saturday night, by the way the poll is shaping up, might not be Jasmin for Indian after all... but there may be a bit of work getting an agreement for the final decision for dinner

getting changed in the Flounge and walking to the plane as a horde of grey brown smurfs could be fun...

hahaha, I don't think I would cope with the embarrassment of walking through the terminal in PJ's !!!

Just got an unexpected 8000 points. Seems my upgrade on this flight was only 1/3 wasted points. :D

24,000 upgrade seems expensive... guess you are talking return :-)

Points are rarely wasted when upgrading or a good value JASA

I'm pretty happy with my J award effort for QF81

1/3 was wasted, 2/3 has now been covered by those unexpected bonus 8000 points. ;)

Upgrade awards are a waste compared to using them for a JASA. At least now I've only wasted 1/6 of a JASA instead of 1/2.
