If it is arriba grill that they own. It could be good. The glenside location would be my choice, with prospect second.

Unfortunately that will put us well outside the CBD area for walking distance. Maybe a mexican place in the city might be a better option? Although it seems that most are happy for asian/indian so mexican may just complicate matters.

I should have used a smiley. Not a serious suggestion, just a coincidental idea based on a new AFF member owning an organic mexican place in Adelaide. If it was mexican night, I'd be saying Zapata's anyway, in North Adelaide. Very near The British, which is a pub I'd recommend for pre-dinner drinks. But I'm not trying to derail current arrangements. ;) As long as it's Jasmine ;)

Vote / poll closes in 48 hours ~30min... please vote...! Then we can lock in the location for dinner on 13/4/13 :-)

Ok , my weekend has now become available & It sounds like a good idea to join the PARTY in ADL :) . I have some QF points to burn & an overnight trip to ADL sounds a good as plan as any . Are there any guesting spots for the F lounge still available ? Im QF NB with QP.

Not a fan of Indian but will select from menu (rather than banquet) as there are limited items that I don't mind - if I have to.

I stayed at the Adelaide Hilton last weekend and asked if it was possible to rope off the back section behind the food bar but the EL manager said no "not during the peak between 5 - 8pm". I did mention that there would be about 10 rooms mostly diamond and a few gold levels attendees. The only other thing is that we are in the EL at 5pm when it opens for the evening but drinks start at 6pm.:)

So 'fierce" ? What size is the lounge? Would you guys/gals be impeding on the rest of the 'lounge lizards" for the duration?

Make sure you only count the likes from the people attending

Well if you are not on the dinner attend list, then I'm not really sure why you would vote in the poll  But yes, votes will be cross checked against confirmed attendees for validation, thus representing a true indication of where the majority of people attending want to hold the dinner...

The :roll eyes: smiley was missing from my last post!

Thanks JessicaTam .. much appreciated . I'm all booked on QF81 SYD>ADL , Seat 31A. Hilton Adelaide booked also . I wont be coming back on QF82, as I plan to catch up with friends for lunch on the Sunday and will fly back on Sunday night .

This will be my ice breaker for an AFF travel event ( have attended a SYD drinks before). I am looking very much forward to meeting a whole lot of new faces and some I meet at SYD drinks last time. I will be a starter for Dinner on Sat night also

:)..... presses the flight attendant call button to suggest that the passenger in 30A needs to refrain from reclining during the meal service , if that fails , gently slam the tray back into the seat of 30A , which may result in a slight moment of the head off the headrest
