I have just had a rather interesting phone call.

QF are sorry that they will be unable to send a rep to the flight, however they have advised the lounge (assume F) of our arrival tomorrow. They are keeping a keen eye on the thread and were interested to see how the function had grown.

I have also been invited to a QF loyalty function next month in ADL; they will be sending an email in the next few days, so I will post accordingly.

I just dropped into the lounge to print the latest attendee list. This is my first visit, and I agree with the name. Very 'Uni Cafe'!

Jess, please pass on my comments that as an ADL pax, it is now an issue to be loyal to Qantas since them pulling the direct flight into Asia. Loyalty can be measured in many ways, but requires availability to be considered... Sadly this event this weekend might be my last international flight on Qantas (for some while), with the current favorite being SQ with their twice daily flights into SIN...

Rant over... :evil:

Edit: Direct flight ADL to SIN on Singapore Airlines for under $700, why would I fly on Qantas for higher price, longer route...?
