Thanks for organizing the event Jess, it was a fun day out, I had 3 good flights with Qantas today, I am now in Perth for a few days.

I met so many great people and probably missed a few that i didn't get around to chatting too, which I apologise, but hope to catch up with you at the next AFF event . Have got late check out for 1pm , so I still may see some of you around in the morning . Currently booked on VA437 @ 18.20 tomorrow back to SYD , but will try & fly ahead VA427 @ 15.15. Well am now in my room getting ready for my handsome sleep. From when the alarm rang at 03.30am in the morning I have had an amazing time.

Thank you Jess for your incredible organisational skills and ensuring we all had a great time. It was definitely an event to remember.

To all the other AFFers who came today, it was great to meet you and hope to catch up soon.

Will post photos later.

Oh and the spa in the SYD F lounge was wonderful.

As lowjhg has already boarded QF82 in SIN we can't really claim to be starting the journey this morning. So the journey continues...

We set our alarms for stupid o'clock and met in the Hilton lobby at 6am. No traffic meant we were walking into the terminal at 6.20 and into the lounge 5 minutes later. After a chat with the staff - one of whom was working yesterday - PrincessK found herself on the receiving end of an op-up. So the gang would be able to stay together in J.

I think we all should have a rant on the QF FB page about not being happy with this service ceasing.

Anyone for a peaceful sit-in demonstration outside the upcoming QFF function in Adelaide? Banners saying "bring back QF81". Badges to hand out to attendees saying the same thing. Media coverage. A Kris Flyer rep on hand to sign everyone up. "What do we want?", "QF81", "When do we want it?", "Now".

I'm half serious.

What a wonderful night, a very big thank you to JessicaTam and everyone that made this event possible, was a nice touch from the QF81 crew for the welcoming announcement on board yesterday, my life enriched by meeting you all and love the flounge looking forward to seeing the "illegal" photos from the ADL customs hall, paddy will you post these here...? also photos from wah hing too please. Safe travels everybody.... Cheers and see you all again soon I hope :thumbup:

What a weekend!!! To all the AFFers I met for the first time, fantastic to put faces to avatars. To JessicaTam - can't say enough about what an amazing job you did. Glad I was able to get you moved from row 2 to 5 on Qf82 - see what happens when you're a silver frequent flyer?! The Qantas crew on both flights and in the Adelaide QP - sensational. Enjoy the rest of the adventure for those of you who haven't finished yet!

And a very special thank you to File51 for guesting me to the FLounge yesterday and coming along at a challenging time.

The First menu has now been signed by the crew of QF82, both the SIN-ADL and ADL-SYD flight and cabin crew. I will scan the menu and post a link to the pdf.

I said it last night, but I will say it again: I am humbled by the number of people who chose to join me for the final flight QF81 and QF82. Thank you so much for sharing this journey and making it the adventure it was.

When I get the chance I will post some photos of the various flights and crew.
