Anna, please pass this on for me...

Will do Shintaro. (Nice to meet you too on the weekend btw :))

I also checked out SQ yesterday for my forthcoming 4 day weekend mini break booked at short notice, but I couldn't get a seat on the direct SQ flight back because it was full. So there's clearly demand for a direct flight. I don't understand why QF doesn't want to compete for it. Even just once or twice a week! Please Red Roo - I know you're reading this ;).

I've also scored the ADL coughtail party. Do I want to skip a day at work?

For the chance to "pseudo-Flounge" at Qantas's expense at the SA museum? Of course you do. I understand the museum has an excellent collection of QF business models on display in the Antiquities Room

you have to work them up to SC runs slowly, learned that the hard way, I made the mistake of doing a SYD ADL BNE MEL SYD NAN SYD MEL BNE SYD with SWMBO in 5 days and she was not impressed and was getting homicidal when going via SYD to get back to SYD the same day... :D

Love it!

I'd be shot :)

We gave the CC a real flogging in McLaren Vale today, fortunately we are back to Qld tomorrow.

A great few days and thanks once again to all the AFFers who participated.

Why bother begging to an airline that clearly isn't interested? Vote with your feet and roll on with SQ! I've never understood people's love and devotion to Qantas. I'm glad I've not stepped foot on a Qantas plane in over 18 months!

yes, SQ is a much better product, but that is because Qantas let it get that way (at least in ADL they have) sadly I am significantly disadvantaged due to not having a good stream of kris flyer points, hopefully I burn all my Qantas points before the airline truly dies in ADL from sheer incompetence...

It's not sheer incompetance. I can understand your frustration though. You were loyal to QF when they plied the route. Things have now changed. They believe they can obtain a better return on funds employed elsewhere. These decisions are made based on confidential commercial data.

i went through a SIA phase. Got up to their top 50 aus flyers. I had my own 'go to gal' in the airline. They were good days. You will enjoy them to.

Me - i am back with Qantas, it suits both of us at present.

enjoy the journey.

The last slice of sourdough with my Eggs Benedict.

The Bollinger (not that I was drinking).
The pile of dishes we left on the table.
A few of us at the table.
Some of the Salt and Pepper Squid.

My steak and chips.
Three of the travellers in the J cabin.
My J meal.
The sign we ignored.
And the photo that was taken in front on the sign we ignored.

Sorry for the delay, had a major computer failure.
