If you want to make sure, why not move 1 of the flights to SQ222? Then you have all bases covered.
Good idea but Sq232 is much better for my connections ex Sin.

Hi guys.
My first post after having surfed this site for several years.
Many of us would have seen the pictures of the first class upper deck arrangement of 3 groups of 2 windows on the first of the upcoming batch of 5 A380s.

Looking closer at some of the other photos of the new plane, I found that the window arrangement on the port side is different? With 2 groupings of 4 windows and 2 windows for the first class area.
Could we be looking at a super large suite as per Etihad on the forward port side of the plane?

As these suites are expected to pretty substantial in size, I wonder whether some of them may seat 2 pax and be able to be sold as such - so rather than being restricted to 6 F pax, they could potentially sell 10 pax (say) in a 6 suite cabin? Would hopefully improve redemption chances if so...

Looks like the new A380 could be start early next year rather than later this year.
BUT ALL of the A380 will be retrofitted to the new configurations.
.
From the article quoted:Why next year?
Customers can expect the new-look aircraft to enter into commercial service early next year, possibly on the Singapore- Sydney route, which was also the first A-380 route for SIA when it started flying the superjumbo in October 2007.
Galley FM told me last week that the rumour is that a shower will be fitted. Also that the new suites are substantially larger than the existing ones.

Looks like the new suites may not be available until as late as March 2018.
