Final flights for the B767

I would think that most who wanted a final hurrah would have booked by now. I might give this a miss after all - given my travel patterns, the 767 has never been a big part of my life so I don't really have any attachements to it. Although I wouldn't hesitate if this was the 747.

Now that's one I would jump for - might even cough up for J. ;)

Am wondering if there will be a First Flight for a Refurbed A330 --- and whether this will be before or after this flight??

I've now booked my SYD-MEL flight for the 27th.
Picked QF425 as it's also a 767. Red-e-deal and points upgrade to J.
I appear to be the only pax in the J cabin at present  so if any of you awesome people would like to join me that would be lovely :D

You could join me in J on the last 767 to Adelaide -QF683 and we could do a quick lunch ;)

Is that a meal service?

For my return leg I'm now on QF465 with a points upgrade to J.. CSA seemed very puzzled at my change and I had to quote the email to get the complimentary change (and offer my assurance that as a Carry on only I should be able to make the 30 minute connection time ;) ).

Looks like I'm the only one in the cabin at this stage

I'm booked for my final 767 flight next Wed on QF449 SYD-MEL. I decided to blow some points and upgrade to J for the occasion so QF better not down-size to a 737 like the last time I was meant to fly a 767...

I am in the same boat. I am not on the last flight but ***my*** last flight is in early December. All I can do now is hope and pray that there is no equipment change. Where those who are travelling on the actual last flight are receiving emails to keep them abreast of any changes I don't think that will happen to those of us who have booked on a different date.

Fingers crossed for you and yes I think you are correct that QF will not email any equipment change on regular 767 flights.
QF are apparently doing a water-cannon salute etc for QF452 on 27th hence the email updates.
