FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

If I am a Citigold in another country (e.g. HK), I heard from my relationahip manager that the status is recognised by all other Citigold in other countries, can I get the Citi Prestige card?

If you deposit $100,000 into the bank, how much annual fee reduction can you get from the usual $700 fee?

thanks

Half mate!! $350 at least that was what I got, which eventually was waived in the 2nd year. Although I am no more citigold.

Bonus points offer: You have the choice of earning 70,000 Citibank reward points or 70,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points (if you enrol in the Citibank Qantas Rewards Program for an additional annual fee of $49 at the time of application) on your first eligible spend on your card within three months of card approval. Current Citibank Credit Cardholders are not eligible to apply for this introductory offer. Offer ends 31 December 2015.

Oh, I have the Citibank Signature (fee free for life) and therefore I will not be able to enjoy the 70,000 QFF bonus!

Just off the phone to Citi Concierge regarding complimentary Limo transfers. I was advised that their service providers started to enforce the 25kms limit since the beginning of this year. I did object and indicate that I have had them for free last year. The CSO said he will look into it but couldn't promise anything.

Also just received confirmation for complimentary stay at KL in Sheraton. I have made additional requests for hotel bookings and see what they come up with in terms of price etc. Have a suspicion that they are cutting back on these complimentary offers by ring fencing them with limitations.

Something's gone wrong there. My transfers to SQ always appear within two business days.

Dear Andrew,
One of England's top football clubs, Liverpool, will be travelling halfway round the globe to face Brisbane Roar FC in Queensland on 17 July this year.
The match sold out to the public within 43 minutes of going on sale back in February, however we have negotiated exclusive access to further face value tickets, for Citi Prestige cardmembers through our industry connections.

i like the look of this intiative from Citi. Not a roundball fan or based in Brisbane so will pass on this opportunity, but hoping there's more where it came from.

Just has an email from Citi. The allowable quote for Melbourne is also 30kms.

Also if one were to still take up the complimentary transfers, they have to pay the charges per kms after 30kms. Still works out better!!!

I received a list from prestige with the allowable distances.

Sydney 30km
Melbourne 25K
Perth 14km
Brisbane 16km

Narita 85km

Given that Melbourne Airport is about 22 km from the city, and that a lot of people live in the SE suburbs, the 30 km complimentary-limit is pretty poor. Even someone living in Toorak would not get the service that is advertised as complimentary! Even parts of Prahran and St Kilda would not qualify! Citibank should rethink this for the benefit of those living in Australia's second biggest city, or qualify the service as complimentary only if living in parts (perhaps 50% or less) of metropolitan Melbourne!
Google maps tells me that even Citibank's Camberwell Branch in metro-Melbourne is 36.5 km from the Airport and thus a the service to the airport from there would not be (fully) complimentary!

WOW!

looks like plenty more partner options now...

avios, delta, eva, etihad, flyblue, garuda, thai, qatar

club carlson, hilton, IHG

and no set bundles of points that require to be transferred, for SQ at least - e.g. I just did a dummy test - would let me convert any number of citi points at the equivalent.

no SPG. and keep trying - it's taken me a week to get in after their upgrade last weekend.

Don't see SPG..

But Very Impressive list of partners! Pretty much covers the full range of airlines from Atlantic to Pacific!

Wow. Knocks the Australian Amex partner list off its perch? Looks like it (need to check Eva award chart and availability etc)

is there a link to this list of partners? And does anyone know if the list has been updated as well for Signature? Considering how worthwhile it is to upgrade.
