FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Yes, I've mostly emptied my Citi rewards account out and will be calling to ask the hard question in a few weeks. At 350, it's a keeper. At 700, it's for the chop. It's a shame, but they've whittled it right back, so it's much less useful than previously.

Has been my main card use for over 10 years and cops far more than any other card would likely permit.
Last month, put a fraction through on QDos causing their fraud services provided by Indue to go into overdrive.
Happily pay Citi the full fare though politely ask for half fee reimbursement whenever inconvenienced which they always oblige.

Yep gotta agree Prestige still best going around - for whatever reason I have not seen an annual fee for 5 yrs or so - if it did turn up and they refused reduction I would still happily pay - but as always we are all different and never can one size fit all.

is it still available at $350 for CitiGold customers?
I just lost my citigold after renewing at $350 a few months ago...

Has anyone used the Citi limo from NRT? What car would I be looking at? Should be able to fit 2 adults and 2 large bags comfortably?

Also assuming I have 2 one-way itineraries, would I be able to book transfers for both ways? As iirc the rides only last a calendar year?

Try to book both Airport Transfers separately - IIRC only one transfer booking - so if it's a return booking you might be screwed trying 2 simultaneously.

If it were me I would book first one then if all clear send off seperate email a few days later and try for second. Clearly others may have different ideas / experiences.

This might be useful for some ... fresh from point hacks .... worldwideweb. pointhacks.com.au/citi-prestige-limo-benefit . Sorry I am too junior to post links.

I had done this: two limo transfers from / to NRT - in one single booking [2015].

Be warned: nice Merc limo with an average boot space. One of my carry-on had to "sit" on the front seat.

What is it with these Merc's and their cough boot space. A sports car has as much. The couple of times we have had them, we have had to put the large suitcases inside the car. Last time I chose a transit van because it doesn't matter how nice the car is if your luggage is falling all over you.

I didn't get any reduction but still find it to be almost as valuable as my Amex Plat. The only reason the Amex is better is it's transfer partners, particularly SPG. Other than that, the Prestige kills it completely if you can put the volume through. I had some work projects which all could be paid on Visa with no charge from the supplier. I thought Citi might kick up a stink about some of the transactions, and it wasn't costing anyone anything, but not a word. That alone will pay for the card for many years. I will keep those points there in the hope of better hotel partners otherwise we might have to visit CE's Singapore girl for a few F flights.

With SPG/Marriot merger, can only hope citi picks them up as a reward partner, if not i be happy with hyatt. 1:1 ratio one can only hope

@Moindart Yeah, if you can put a lot through it easily, it's still the best earning visa/mc in the market. However I'm finding I can Amex a lot of my spend these days, and the lack of ATO earning on this card has become an issue for me. If you're lucky citi will run another double Hilton points promotion like they did at Christmas.

I'm waiting for that got myself 2 nights at Conrad London for half price was good value. Otherwise prefer to redeem SPG (would be awesome if Citi had them too like they do on Diners). Otherwise flight redemptions are best value for Prestige points for me.

Don't think so @Paultiffen, but not 100% sure. Stay 4 pay 3 is booked via hotels.com through the Citi travel desk, so doubt it can be combined. Would be a nice surprise.

I booked a pay 3 nights and stay 4 nights....I blame CE for this. So 4 nights at Bunker Bay Pullman after Accor jumped the price and would not negotiate.

To clarify, does Citi pay after statement date? compared with other banks who pay within a day or 2 after transaction has cleared.

I just signed up to Prestige about 3 weeks ago. I have roughly 6K points in my account but should have around 22K. Had a quick chat with someone and they said Citi only pays points after billing cycle.

As it has not been the first month yet, I should have 0 points in my account as the first cycle date has not ended. Not sure whats what.

Also how long does the bonus 80k take to post?
