Steady you sure about the Stay 4 Pay 3 benefit?
Still listed on the website as a benefit CE. But max 4 claims per year.
I have successfully booked one now @Cruiser Elite - I had trouble getting through on the phone, but it was painless when I did. I also received this email yesterdayTry to book 1 and see how it goes

I just bank them and transfer to SQ when there is a bonus on or I need them for flights.Has anyone have opinion on whether it QR or SQ is a better partner to transfer points to? I love SQ but always annoyed with the hard 3 year point expiry.
So it’s on par with Expedia price ? Is there a way we can book this online or does it have to go through the concierge? The US Citi seems to have Thankyou.com where we can look up hotels prices, i wonder if it’s the same website the Aussie Citi concierge will go to ..Also where do you guys find out about Expedia being the booking agent? I read through the T&Cs, couldnt see it anywhere.I was able to book a 4th night free also just few weeks back for a trip this month.
It's still 1 per night average price off from the best Expedia price you can find.
It is the same as the Expedia price, it has to be booked through the concierge. They told me I could book anything I could find on Expedia and I got the impression they booked through ExpediaSo it’s on par with Expedia price ? Thats really awesome! Thanks @Steady. Meaning we get real discount unlike some booking agents that first jacked up the price before applying the “discount”It is the same as the Expedia price, it has to be booked through the concierge. Doesn’t sound too promising hopefully i will have better luck using it in April from Perth. Thanks for sharing @N860CRNot sure the airport transfer service is worth the effort…
Trying to book an airport transfer from SYD to the Inner West (generally a $25 Uber). Even getting in touch with them is a nightmare… concierge number diverts to voicemail, emails take a day to be returned and calls backs are missed.
So far I’ve been told the 8km trip will be $160 so needs an additional $60 payment. Included in this is a 25% “Xmas Eve” surcharge which isn’t listed in the T&Cs, a $15 “airport surcharge” which also isn’t listed and a base fare that’s significantly higher than what’s in the document.
Seems the concierge service matches that of citi overall.
I'm using mine for tonight which we booked start of month. Also in Perth, lives in Cannington which is about 15 mins drive to the airport. We got 4 bags and were told we cannot book the Sedan so we were offered the People Mover which is charged more than the Sedan, so be mindful if you have multiple bags. I think they charge you per distance and not the hard set price in the T&C. All in all, got charged $109 so had to pay the $9 extra. Tad too expensive but still cheaper than if we got an Uber so still works for us.Doesn’t sound too promising hopefully i will have better luck using it in April from Perth. Thanks for sharing @N860CR
Wow! Almost not worth doing it. Does it normally cost u more than $100 for Uber to airport @bellroy26 ? was it because you had to order bigger Uber car anyway? my place is 20mins ride away from airport and at the most $60 (3 people, 2lge bags plus backpacks, so a sedan).I'm using mine for tonight which we booked start of month. It would usually cost us $35 Uber XL going to the airport. But yes, the base price of People Mover ($100) costs more than the Sedan ($85). And that's only for the first 10km. Any succeeding kms is extra.Wow! Almost not worth doing it. Ah I see what you mean. Looks like Uber will be cheaper for me, i am 30km out of airport anyway, safe travel! It would usually cost us $35 Uber XL going to the airport. The thing about this luxury service is that the cars have a set rule for allowed number of bags so the type of car you'll get will be based on that.
Thats right. Even with 300k Rewards point which at best only equal to 150k Velocity, the annual fee is not worth it for me. Only signed up because its half priceFor what it’s worth, when I pointed out quite clearly that the prices didn’t match the T&Cs and they were adding undisclosed surcharges, the concierge went radio silence.
Another AFCA complaint it is . They can just give me the $100.
If it wasn’t for the signup bonus, why on earth would anyone keep this card! I will hold it for a year to burn through the priority pass though. I can stomach a few $72 airport meals over a lounge at domestic.
