Last year I flew with my then 14 month old in the Finnair airlounge seat SIN-HEL, then HEL-SEA a couple of months later. It went really well, and he sat in the spacious seat with me the whole time.
I've just booked another trip for us in March next year. He'll be 3 then, so I got him his own seat. Flying out of HKG this time, I assume the HKG-HEL is also equipped with the airlounge seats
I'm much more nervous about flying with a 3 year old than a 14 month old. Flying SYD-HKG in Y onboard QF first, then 4 hours later boarding the AY J flight to Helsinki.
I'm currently potty training him but I'm tempted to put it off so he doesn't need the toilet all the time
Has anyone flown in these seats with a toddler in their own seat? Car seat doesn't fit them

Edit: Found QSuites BNE-DOH-OSL so I cancelled my QF CR booking and booked QR J instead. I think it's a much better option as the dividers between seats can be collapsed, whereas in Finnair airlounge there's a big wide divider between seats which might prove stressful for him.
Assuming we can get the right seats, we should be able to share sleeping space like this? It'll be my first time in QSuite
