This is a long overdue development. Good.

You did better than me recently.
Email morning of travel - out of service AY131
Return leg AY132 couldn’t ever get it to connect (had a go a number of times). I don’t mind being disconnected, but seems it’s not particularly reliable.
QF35 on the 330-200 had the wifi active over Aus continent. The return leg didn’t have it at all.
As an aside, love the new Finnair J seats. Crew attentive, plenty of food (did pass on the reindeer quiche offered as arrival meal into SIN).
Back to back vs QF35/36 vs AY132/131, I preferred Finnair.
So how did you recover from the cancellations? Did AY actively assist you in this regard?I would avoid Flying Ay for now...risk of flight cancellation is real and high!
Flew Ay Fco-Hel, Hel-Hkg, then Qf Hkg- Mel, staring last Mon.
Have been on tenterhooks about flight cancellations; day before our flight Fco-Hel cancelled, 2 days after, Hel- Hkg cancelled. Dodged a couple of bullets there...could easily have been standed in Europe over Easter!

Looks like it's the strike game plan.I should add the food in J from Hel to Hkg was a shocker unless you like reindeer!
