Re: Flight centre vs online FINNAIR booking

I did found some around but most of it is in german language and i don't understand it so if i could find something along the way a good spoken english website for it that be fantastic. But it all depends how much would it be worth the same or close to a normal taxi fair cost. But then again getting on a taxi is the unexpected wither they have a fix price and they wont tell you or they do. So i rather get away from that issue with taxi drivers. I would rather peacefully get to my destination without those angry drivers over traffic flow which i actually notice the drive getting me back to the airport one time.

Anyhow to make this right now short noted. I'm after one of those private people who pick you up the guy in his uniform. Not exactly a limousine streetch but more of a good car that takes us to the hotel without a issue. But i don't no what they offer in berlin or how the system actually works.

Meanwhile i will try search online unless someone comes up with a solution which you would recommend. I have everything i need so far just need the get to the hotel and not a taxi this time.

Do I smell a rat? Is this for real. I thought th OP had already travelled here before so I would think they would know this stuff.

Re: Flight centre vs online FINNAIR booking

I'm really looking forward to the trip report. Barbara, I hope you have a great holiday.

Hang on.... Isn't this the same person who was whinging about paying a travel agent $70 to book flights on their behalf...
And is now complaining that their "unnamable hotel" is charging $6000 for their Berlin stay, but when they're shown AirBnB apartments for 1/4 of the price, they don't want to consider them?

Wow. I wish I had $6k to drop on hotels, if I did I certainly wouldn't be whinging about a travel agent's $70 fee!

People. I already have a reserve hotel as ive been telling you about it. But yes i do thank you for your links been provided. But it is ok. I understand im going to pay almost 6.000 dollars but this payment they don't charge or take anything off my card until i get there or at least have that money ready a week before travel otherwise.
Everything is all booked. Just looking for a private company that can take me to and from the hotel. Not a taxi ride this time. My last experience wasnt good and it was a scam for charging me 58.00 euros just to get to the city which he didn't told me how much in the first place. So to try avoid any disappointments and what not i am searching for companys online a private driver. Usually they stand at airports holding a sign to let you know his your driver.

Barbra, a simple Google search will bring up private transfers, Berlin airport to city. Suggest you have a look and then book one. You know what you are after and you have to be happy with with you book. Look at TripAdvisor forums for Berlin to see if there are any suggestions. I'm sure you will be able to manage admirably.

Now im working on little things such as when i get to Singapore as you know i have a 6 hour wait before i hope on the wonderful A350 airliner next bounce to europe.
In singapore terminal 1 has a hotel in there call (aerotel) i am trying to book a room. But before you book it you need to give the booking .com a date. So because this hotel is only for a short few hours stay only and i be only there for about 5 hours only. And not staying over night. How am i suppose to tell booking the date correctly ? So if i leave 29th i have to add in arrival 29th and 30th departure. Im not departing 30th my plane leaves 5 minutes before 12 midnight before it gets 30th.

So im trying to book a room but it requiers that if i include 29th and 29th it will indicate error in the booking calender date. So how am i suppose to do this as i am not paying a full night stay. They have a block of 6 hours stay. But in booking it requiers that same date arrival to the hotel and same date departure makes it error in the booking.

Any other ways posible or how as i am not wanting to stay over night it is a 6 hour only block well thats what the offical website say but im looking at bookng. com but in this site it sk me arrival date and departure date. It won't aloud me to depart the same day. Well im only there for less then 6 hours in this aerotel hotel on terminal 1 in singapore international airport.

Anyone can help me figuire this out if posible and how to ? Sure booking may think im putting the wrong date for departure. But the hotel is only for short period of time its just a hotel inside the airport to give the passanger rest in his private bed and bathroom before catching the next flight off to europe. All this on terminal 1.

The original offical website is
https://www.myaerotel.com/
Which i suppose makes it easier to book it by them other then booking or expedia because you actually have to give them the actual time your actually arriving and not anytime on the day otherwise someone already taken your room.
I also been watching a few times the video demonstration on the website just scroll alittle down and you see the video intro. It tells you what its inside and the private bathrooms.

Thought i will point this out for a good course for anyone who wants to try stay avoid the grouded airports and want some peace of mind before the next flight without going around in circles from one place to another in the terminal 1.

Take note. From the offical website it has this M twin which is 2 separated beds in a small 1 room.

Then they ahve the M twin & meal.

If i was to choose the M twin & meal then it doesn't actually specified exactly in no details what so ever what meals are they actually providing or what is it im going to (eat) if i was to choose the M twin with the meal.
Not very helpful because.. the price seems almost or just the same if you just click only just (m twin room) without the meal. So this is why im working on what exactly is the meal. No information about it. Doesnt say does the room has the meal ready for me when i arrive? does the meal comes hot or cold drinks as well. You know little things like this that it isn't helping much on that website.

However they are new management since late last year and notice they are as complicating themselfs as i stay this room before and i show my print out and it took 20minutes till they found my booking with a WINDOW. Thats why a M TWIN room is.. with a window. The other rooms do not come with a window. But M twin room does.. it is also a 2 singale beds in 1 small room with a window.
So because its all new they shouldnt end up been confuse this and that as ive read recently reviews about the very same issues as that. But i hope they are getting better with how one deals with the receptionist at this place.

They need to re-create the site correctly by editing and adding exactly (what meals are they refering) are they refereing meals in a restaurant near by or in the room and what meals is it.. is it rice is it soup or something cheap ? Without knowing i would not idea plus people eat diferen't things and some are vegan and some are other major things. So maybe i will just select M twin room rather then the M twin room & meal. Only because the lack of information.

You try it have a play with it click on booking now.. just select a random date, choose M twin room and it gives you a list single room or single room with meal or M twin room or M twin room with a meal.
But without knowing i would have no idea where or what the actual meal is.

So perhaps ill cross that our due to the lack of information been provided on the official website. I can just go to some place for take away chicken meal or burger and bring it to the room without the hassle. In whcih that's exactly what i did recently on my last trip. However online the official website did not had the (meal) as an option so this must be something new been added if want it when booking.

What you reckon people ? With a meal or without it unless you people have read it what is the meal they are providing and yes i be there aprox early evening (dinner time)
