Flybuys General Promotions

I read somewhere, someone compared it Grey Goose and other positive reviews. Would be a nice little point earner if you like your vodka.

The following is a VICTORIA only promotion.
I don't know where the original coupon was published but my local Coles was giving away the coupons at the entrance to the store and the checkout operators had a supply as well. They were a grey/black/white A4 sheet of paper.

Get $10 off when you purchase $100 of groceries valid only this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (august 3,4 and 5).

I'm doing the coupon wording from memory so check the coupon carefully for the conditions etc. I'm pretty sure that gift cards are excluded from the qualifying purchase amount and there are other exclusions as well.

I ended up getting $20 off in combined coupons (see fb targeted thread) plus another $2 off using My5. I also got the 8 cents per litre fuel voucher from the promotion listed above.

I just got an email from Target regarding a joint target online and flybuys promotion. According to the email it only lasts one day, Saturday August 11. The offer is for 10X Flybuys points for orders over $120 using Target Online only. The delivery fee is on top of the $120 qualifying spend. Flybuys card number must be entered at time of purchase.

I suggest checking all the terms and conditions before taking up the general offer. I am guessing they will be somewhere on the Target online site. It's also a ploy to sign up more people to flybuys.

Target seem to be having a lot of Flybuys general promotions lately. There was one day in the last few weeks they had an instore 10X flybuys points for selected baby products only. The catalogues also seem to have triple points promotions on specific items almost every week.

Just saw a great olive oil bonus point offer at coles that is not listed on their site.

This is actually a Coles general promotion rather than a Flybuys general promotion but I thought I'd post it here.

8 cents fuel voucher for purchases at Coles of over $30 until 31 October. More information as well as terms and conditions are available on the Coles web site.

A new one: Earn 500 bonus points for selecting Direct Debit payment option. Points will be awarded to both existing and new to AGL customers. Sign up to Direct Debit to pay your AGL home energy bill. From: October 1, 2012 to June 30, 2018

I better hurry with an expiry date like that LOL.

So I have a choice of between 1075 flybuy points or 45 QFF points plus CC points. Looks like Flybuys is the clear winner here unless BWS start offering bonus points again!

I just got some bonus points this morning hit my account from 6 weeks ago - so hopefully the rest of the bonus points will start trickling through.

I've had to wait 6 weeks or more for some of my bonus points. I've lost track of the number of times I've had to chase the call center snce the flybuys relaunch about missing bonus points. I'm wondering whether to start a separate thread on the issue like the one in the EDR/WW section. I've noticed that some points recently have been showing up after 2-3 weeks so things are improving. I was actually impressed that a 5000 point bonus from my car service with KTAS showed up within 2 weeks of the service.

They have of some of those spirits like the Tequila at BWS for 2 for $75. Does anybody know if First choice will do a price match for 2 for special?

My local first choice was happy to beat the price after a quick call to the local BWS on the Bulleit, flatmate is still confused why a scotch drinker has suddenly turned to Bourbon though ;), also bought a bottle of double black to prove I had not totally gone to the dark side.

Did they make you send receipts in, or could you just do it over the phone? I havent tried chasing up my 500 bonus points since they asked me to fax them my receipt.

I haven't had to send in faxes of receipts. They did ask me for these but I managed to convince them to take receipt details over the phone and by email. They have said that if I chase things again I will have to fax in copies of the receipts. This is ridiculous given that some senior flybuys staff would have access line by line to our receipts just like the senior edr supervisors do. I've had all sorts of problems with the call center staff so now I use the faq/contact us form and give them details. I then ask them to call me if they need more details.

I am just about to chase up 800 points from a Target targeted offer. I'll let you know if they try the fax receipt line on me again.

FWIW I think there s a first choice bonus points error, will confirm in the next few days, it's an error in our favor!

The bonus points at 1st Choice are in a catalogue which lasts for another 8 days. The 2 for $75 at BWS lasts for 7 days.

In theory if you received a high enough point offer on lets say a bottle of wine, the points would be worth more then the the bottle of wine. Mmmm Pudding Guy meets the Wine guy?

Now I have to look carefully at the 1st Choice catalogue.
