I haven't used the online voucher as I have plenty of 20 cent vouchers which I got with my regular shopping over the last month.

I have heard some success stories and some failures. It varies from store to store. It is possible that by tomorrow Coles Express will have sent information to all their stations to stop any acceptances of the voucher. The voucher is being rejected by the registers at some locations however sometimes the staff are overriding the system and giving the 22 cent per litre discount anyway. You've got a good plan by having the 8 cent voucher handy as well. Good luck.

I'm going to give the voucher a try tomorrow and have an 8c voucher as buck up just in case.
As I have room for about 130L it would be nice to get 22c off.

I did try and use the voucher with my 150L purchase but was told the voucher had already been used.

Should have played a little more dumb and pushed... there were reports of the 22c voucher being manually added... I never tried it...

I can report that I used the voucher at 3pm on Saturday. It worked and scored $8 off my petrol. I then tried to use the voucher at 7pm and was advised it expired. Manually entering was not an option as the operator "would get in trouble".

This month Shell Express ATM vouchers include 15% off a frozen at coles as an option, given the vouchers are free using ING and withdrawing $200, not a bad option if frozen food is popular in that house.

There were signs in the Easter Egg section of my Coles regarding a general flybuys promotion.

Spend $15 in one transaction on Easter Eggs and Easter mechandise to get 200 bonus flybuys points.

The promotion ends on March 20.

Flybuys have a general promotion on Coles brand products starting this Wednesday May 7 and ending on Tuesday June 10.

They are offering double points on all purchases of Coles branded products. Check the labelling carefully. I doubt it will apply to Coles Smart buy products. The Coles products covered includes the Coles range of fresh meat.

I get some Coles products, including a lot of their frozen products so I should make a few points out of this promotion. It wil be a pain keeping track of all the purchases and then reconciling the points in July once they finally get paid but I think it is still a good idea for a promotion. I don't think I'll get any extra stock during the promotion time. I'll need a much better offer than this to stockpile extra Coles products.

The reason I mentioned the frozen food is that I have a docket deal and a paper coupon for frozen food so stacking the two targeted offers plus this general offer will work well.

I am actually impressed with the amount of products which are covered in this promotion. I should make a couple of dollars out of the promotion just on buying the products I was going to buy anyway.

Has anyone managed to find a website with a good description of what products are covered under this promotion?

I got an email today reminding me about the promotion which had a link to "find out more". When I clicked on the link I got a Coles page with the word ERROR on it. The link in my flybuys account isn't much better. It apears to be a Coles online page promoting other features and promotions in the Coles range of products.

As far as I can tell the promotion applies to any product with a barcode where the word Coles is either on the label of the product or printed on the receitpt. This appears to include deli meat with a Coles branding and fresh fruit and vegetables pre packed with a barcode and the word Coles on the label.

Does anyone know if you earn Flybuys points when buying things like Myer or JBHifi gift cards in Coles?

ie does it qualify under term 6.4 of the T&Cs.

6.4 Qualifying Transaction means a transaction with a Participant for goods or services on which the Participant issues points.

I have earnt points and bonus points with Skype gift cards.

I purchased a pre paid Visa card last year and managed to earn both base points and bonus points on the transaction. This was in November last year. I have no idea whether the conditions have changed.

Perhaps you should complete the survey and let them know you are dissatisfied. Won't make a difference, but you'll earn 500 points getting it off your chest.
