Are you talking about the coupons in the mail. Check the dates carefully. I think next week is a triple points coupon week. The first week of the coupons was a bit funny as it ran for 2 weeks depending on how quickly the coupons came through the mail.

good luck with the meat. still find our local butcher better for price and quality

In our region the Wow meat has always been pretty good. One notable exception with some veal Osso Bucco. Never touched it ever again and it was well in advance of use-by date.

Even better is the ability for them to manage the mad quantities sent out by the regional warehouse for the meat. Last year our 300l 2nd deep freeze gave up the ghost which cramps our style somewhat.

Those 50% or 60% off free range chicken/roast lamb/reef etc have always been 100% when eventually used. After more than 8 years of this happening - I suppose it makes their marketing area not look so bad.

Looks like I was correct, and I had a setting in my FB account to say "no targeted offers" via email.

Got my first this week - spend $60 for 2 weeks, get 4000 pts. While it's not bad, I don't need to spend that much. And I don't want to encourage higher offers.

Mine is spend $290 and get 4000 points. There is no way I'm doing that, they're dreaming!

Out of interest did your spend required jump up because you took advantage of some gc deal or do you have a high single spend on C groceries?

Reason I ask is that gc purchase offer taken up saw weekly spend into the $300s from say $50. Yet T&Cs for generating required spend specifically state that spend on gcs will not be counted (amongst other items like tobacco etc).

So makes you wonder that if it's not counted to qualify for a FB bonus offer - then why is it counted to generate the required spend for a bonus FB offer?

Another great 'enhancement' brought to you by, perhaps, an ex-Q marketing exec?

I completed my 4 week promotion during the week and have already converted my points into flybuys dollars.

In an unusual move I spent $70 at Coles instead of the required $50. There were plenty of half price specials I wanted including the 6 packs of Up and Go. I got to use an extra docket deal of 1000 points for $70 spend. I also used my week 2 triple points coupon, a triple points docket deal and a 150 point coupon for some chocolate chip cookies. If you include 2500 points as the week 4 component of the 4 week promotion, that's 4000 points for the transaction. It works out as $20 back from a $70 transaction which is around 28%.

I have also completed my 4 week bonus points promotion yesterday and was happy to see the bonus points posted to my account today. Will probably wait till I have enough points for a $100 Coles voucher before I redeem.

Otherwise, received some product specific bonus points promotion which I have activated.

I've only used triple points and buy x product to get xx_ amount of points offers, I'm only spending $100-130 max every week at Coles. I refuse to jump my spend up to something so high for little reward too.

(Sorry for the late reply)

I have just received a 'Managers Special' targeted offer for use at a named Coles store. The offer is spend $30 and get $6 off instantly. It is valid from Thursday to Sunday. I was going to pop down there anyway today but will now go tomorrow. I generally go to one of three Coles stores - this one is probably my second most frequented store but is the closest to my home.

No as far as I can remember. My wife also has same offer (different card number but same account) for the same store and she has probably not shopped at that store for at least a year.

A note of caution if you get this sort of offer - there is a little trap I fell straight into. Both my wife and I got these email offers which started with 'Here is an exclusive offer for you to use at Coles storename'. Both of us activated them and today we went together to named store, both spent to the trigger point but only the first card (mine) received the discount.

When I got home I found buried in the small print 'Offer is only redeemable once per flybuys household'.

Had I spent all on the one card I could have used my week 3 coupon so missed out on the 500 points from that as well.

So now instead of thinking what a great little offer that was from flybuys / Coles I feel a touch cheated.

Are the flybuys accounts linked to the same account?
