Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Not sure what to do with our four week offer given we will be away for one of the weekends...

Just done my 1st week of a 4 x $90 and with various dockets & email activations scored 2,711 FB, next stop was 1st Choice to pick up some "refreshments" as I had activated a spend $30 get 1,000 FB, so the total this morning is 3,711 FB, not bad for 45 mins of my time.
So nearly up to another 10K FB coupled with 10K for the 4 x $90 will see another 8,000 EY miles, I am already up to 53,000 EY miles just from Flybuys and I haven't even explored what else I can get EY points for.
Lets see if Woolies will come up with something similar for QF points

Nice work. The other I earn EY points is by transfer AMEX MR points - I use this to top up my EY balance as flybuys only allows such large transfers.

Many stores restocked during the Mother's Day promo-we can hope as I only have 1 store still with current availability

Checked for the 3rd time in 4 days (staff said coming in tonight - on Wednesday was their response but early Thursday none had arrived) across multiple stores.

Big fail with targeted offer this time around.

Store managers had no clue about the offer and asked for the details as there was no sign of ANY $100 prepaid Coles MCs being sent to them in their system.

BIG FAIL.

Does make me wonder whether any ex-Woolworths marketing staff are now working for FlyBuys...

My local has restocked twice during the current promo period and it has only been running for less than a week - kudos to them!

So these Coles Mastercard can't be bought online with Amex but accepted when purchasing in-store with groceries etc.

Yep, clear as mud the logic used by Coles FB here.

Does make me more and more certain that refugees from WoW Rewards Dept are now working for (against?) Coles Fb now.

I recently switch to Coles from WW , done my small shop yesterday of $13 and points haven't credit into Flybys account today . didn't see any offer on the docket also point only have flybuys number captured . just wondering how long does it take before points appear on my account .

In my experience the points will credit sometime today and you will see them tomorrow.

Regular small shops. $15 in value or so.

It does take a few months for flybuys to figure out your regular spending pattern and which foods you prefer to buy. The offers will probably start off small like triple points or double points and then once they think they know how much you usually spend you will get offers of X points for $50 or whatever they think is a reasonable target. As advised in earlier posts, keep the transactions as small as possible and the targets should stay at a reasonable level.

I now shop at Coles a lot more following the demise of the Woolworths loyalty programme. I liked the idea of the regular coupons for additional points but I wondered why I didn't receive any FB email offers. Although my email address was known to FB's I didn't realise that I had to also register to receive Coles offers by email. Hey presto the special offers have started to arrive in my Inbox. You're never too old to learn!

Cashed in a spend $80, earn $20 email deal tonight on Card B. My spend targets on Card A have finally dropped down to a semi reasonable level (spend $140, earn $20) after being ludicrously high following the Mother's day gift card spend.

Got a similar 80/20 or 50/10 offer and then heard on the radio the 'one-up-manship' has really begun.

WoW is offering double earning for fresh F&V, bread & meat.

Coles if offering triple...

Let the games commence!
