Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

The offers for the last week or so have just been multiple points offers, so not very exciting. The latest offer is for triple points or 10x points if I spend over $100. I haven't spent over $100 at Coles in a single transaction for a long time so I'm not about to start now.

I've been on holidays in a town that doesn't have a Coles so all the shopping has been at Woolworths.

My 1000 point docket deal from a couple of weeks ago got credited during the week.

I received another multiple points offer similar to the last offer which ends on Thursday.

If flybuys follow their previous pattern of offers, this means the next round of 4 week offers start this coming Friday and they will be using one of those crazy 10 day weeks for week 1.

I don't have any current Woolworths offers at the moment so I might be interested in a 4 week offer, provided the target is reasonable.

Yes I got the 10x points for over $100 one. Not going to happen.

Last coupon this week, received a triple points docket deal also that I might use.

I'm not sure what you mean by last coupon. I didn't use last weeks coupon so I went and checked my coupon collection after I read your post. We are in week 10 this week of the coupons. Flybuys now run 12 week promotions with the coupons, not 10 weeks like they used to.

Thanks for your patience. We anticipate at this stage that these points will be credited by the end of this week, in line with the terms and conditions of the offer.

I'm waiting on this as well.

I was aware of the lengthy time until points would post. But it doesn't make any sense. How is it that Woolworths can post bonus points instantly, but Coles makes you wait weeks?

It depends on who the partners of the promotion are. The Coles and Woolworths basic base points and bonus points are paid within a few days of the sales. These promotions are funded directly via the supermarket who owns the loyalty program. The gift card promotion is probably being run by the finance company who issues these pre paid cards and they will take longer to approve and fund the points.

Just had an email reply: "Our Head Office has advised there was an error with this particular Docket Deal not awarding points and are currently investigating. We have been advised the points for this deal will be awarded within the next week."

Turns out my points posted on 20 sept, but quite far down on my statement so I only just noticed!

Yes, I've noticed they've adjusted the way late bonus points post. I try to keep track of the current balance and then go searching through the listings if I can't figure out where the points have come from.

I got a docket deal with my top up shopping today. Spend $70 for 500 points. The target is too high and the reward is half of what it used to be on docket deals.

I didn't get any additional weekly offers for Coles but received a product based email offer for some rice crackers.

My guess is that the 4 week offer will roll out by the end of the week.

See the general flybuys offer thread for details of an offer which runs from today until Sunday 2 October.

I'm glad I checked this before posting anything or call them. I was waiting for the Father's day gift card bonus as well. I thought it has been ages. I never really checked but just when I decided to I found nothing so... Well I'll wait till next week to check again. All the other bonus (x3, x10 etc) was done pretty fast.

I got an email from flybuys today reminding me about the general offer of 2000 points for $100 spend. I am wondering if flybuys have re-arranged their targeted offers for this promotion. There's still a few hours left for them to send out the 4 week promotion but I'm not sure whether it will come today. Perhaps they are going to bring Week 1 back to 7 days and send the emails out on Sunday with a starting date of Monday 3 October. This would make sense as the general offers (different for each state) finish on Sunday 2 October.

Anything is possible. I'll make my decision late tonight as to how much I will spend tomorrow on my usual Coles shopping trip. I doubt I will spend $100 so I don't think I'll be taking up the general offer. I could combine a couple of small targeted offers but the percentage reward won't be very high. There is an outside chance I will make the $100 spend, mainly because I won't be doing any shopping at WW until next week.

The main benefit of this weeks shopping is that I'll be able to pay for most of the shopping with flybuys dollars and Coles egiftcards which I got for completing online surveys for other companies.

I guess only time will tell.

Got a docket deal of $190 for 750 points. I guess that's what I get for buying GCs.

Oh well, I guess back to WW.
